Upon stepping into the grass he noticed a rather large Ekans slithering through the grass and went after it. After a short chase the young boy captured Cyanide, affectionately nicknamed Cy, and the two became inseparable almost right away. Cyanide has always been his prized Pokemon, she is incredibly intelligent and has even helped to teach Toxic a bit of her native tongue and though he knows more than almost anyone the still understands very little of what she is actually saying to him. After his accident Cyanide has developed a deep distaste for Arsenic and refuses to be returned to her Pokeball so she can keep a better eye on Toxic. Although she is the most responsible of the group she doesn't mind playing along with Toxic's games because of the rewards he gives her. Though she has attacked people before on his command, Toxic is very skeptical about doing it unless it is absolutely required.

ARSENIC NAME: arsenic SPECIES: seviper GENDER: male EGG GROUP: field and dragon group MOVES: poison jab crunch night slash poison fang bite poison tail wrap iron tail THE POKEMON: Arsenic and Toxic met under very unfortunate circumstances. On one of many trips to Hoenn Toxic decided to search for a Seviper, a poison type that he had not yet captured, but in his searching he stepped on Arsenic's tail and was promptly wrapped in the snake's long body and bitten on the neck. It was hours before he was found in the grass and the young trainer was promptly brought to the nearest hospital for treatment. Sadly they got there too late for the anti-venom to be completely effective, and in a few years time the trainer will die from this injury. The venom had a large effect on his brain and changed his behavior vastly. After a few months of healing Toxic travelled back into the grass and captured Arsenic. Despite their unfortunate meeting Toxic does not blame him for the incident and enjoys spending time studying him. Arsenic and Cyanide do not get along because of his attack on Toxic.
