Along with the little Eevee, her brother gave her a firestone, telling her that she would know when Kari was ready to use it. Kari is still a baby, much like her trainer is still a fledgling, but will give everything she's got to protect Sakura. Like her trainer, she is trusting and relatively friendly, but only once given the go ahead by Sakura. She's sweet and affectionate to her trainer and dislikes being inside her pokeball. She's more often than not found to be cuddled inside Sakura's coat, ready to swipe at anyone coming to close to the girl; Kari is shy, preferring to stay out of the spotlight when possible. Determined and stubborn, Kari will fight until she can simply no longer stand if she can to avoid disappointing Sakura. She strives to please, strives to be everything that Sakura needs in a pokemon, but like any baby, can be willful and difficult. She takes challenges seriously, and won't back down even if the opponent is larger and stronger than she is.

Ran is unlike Kari in many ways, while protective, he gives off an almost haughty, aloof air and shies away from touches and hugs from anyone that isn't his trainer. He isn't vicious or nasty, but rather prefers to keep to his own company. Ran can easily be called lazy, preferring to do as little as possible to get the job done - though Sakura hopes he will grow out of this. A mischief maker, Ran is known for playing pranks on his trainer whenever allowed out of his pokeball. From stealing her things and hiding them - only returning them when she isn't looking - to chewing on things or annoying Kari, he's a known troublemaker. He's intelligent, almost coldly so, and seems to weigh people up with a calculating stare before moving any closer. Currently with the rebels

THE POKEMON:

The second and last companion of young Sakura, Beauty is gentle and obedient and has been from the moment of her capture as a caterpie. She will happily do anything for Sakura and showers affection upon her, to the desire of making her happy. Beauty is by far the most friendly of Sakura's pokemon, happily going over to strangers when they are met upon the road and then returning to her trainer. She does have a tendency to be clumsy when not in battle, and often accidently knocks things over. She tries to be helpful in everything she does, whether that be helping Sakura find berries for them or simply playing with the little Kari to keep her from under Ran's feet. She acts like a mother and a sister to the pokemon and her trainer, steering them away from danger where she can.

THE POKEMON:

Orginally Lilly's from the moment he was sent to retrieve her - and never did - Guardy is one of Sakura's treasured team members. After her friend's death, she promised to look after the other Pokemon - just as she'd promised to Lilly - and has since made sure that she trains hard with him. Playful and loyal, Sakura couldn't hope for a more friendly and protective Pokemon - that wasn't Kari - since Guardy doesn't have to worry about his new trainer's health, Sakura assumes he rests easier at night, even if she still can't sleep without him by her side for rememberance of Lilly. Though she doesn't know, Sakura feels as though Guardy desperately misses his trainer, even while he does his best for her.
After Lilly's sickness worsened, she asked Sakura to look after her team - wiht the exception of Sonny who was to go to Finn. Grateful for the mothering influence, Sakura is torn between respect for the pokemon and a fear of upsetting her, and simply does her best to keep her happy

Nurse came to be Lilly's pokemon when she was first diagnosed with her heart condition at the tender age of six. Nurse was the first to notice her breathing troubles, and alert doctors to her dear little trainer's needs. It seemed only right that when Lilly ran away from home to enjoy her more limited days, that Nurse would be the pokemon that was most loyal and followed her willingly. Nurse takes care of Lilly when things go wrong - when she has to hide her troubles from her friends. When Lilly has pains, or struggles to sleep, Nurse uses sing to comfort her. To Lilly, Nurse was the mother she always needed but never had .
After Lilly's sickness worsened, she asked Sakura to look after her team - wiht the exception of Sonny who was to go to Finn. Grateful for the mothering influence, Sakura is torn between respect for the pokemon and a fear of upsetting her, and simply does her best to keep her happy.

Lilly's favourite type of pokemon, she is beloved by her trainer, and can't help but love the kind natured girl right back. The pair often spend time together, and when Lilly puts out too much energy, she will make her stop and rest, wishing she was bigger so that she could carry her trainer either in her arms or on her back. Queenie has been with Lilly since very early in their journey, and longs to be a Nidoqueen so that she can fulfill one of her trainer's life wishes.

The first pokemon that Lilly ever caught on her own, Tweety was her sweetie, through and through. Tweety is a protective mother hen, often patrolling the skies at night to make sure that their group is always fine. Whenever Lilly is out of her sights, the bird pokemon lets out a warning screech, to try and get Nurse to respond. She is rarely in her pokeball, much preferring to be perched on her trainer's shoulder as much as she can so that she knows that the girl is okay. If any unwanted Pokemon attack, Tweety is always on the job, using whirlwind to get rid of them quick as a flash.
