QUICK SAND GOT NO SENSE OF HUMOR, I'M STILL LAUGHING LIKE HELL!
Albert looked at the city below him with a look that was obviously not impressed with Pewter City. He had grown up in Kanto and Pewter City always seemed boring to him, there was nothing special about it, no landmarks nothing. It was a boring dull city with dull and boring people. And he already hated people as it were, but boring people were even worse.
He was standing on top of the Gym, no one had noticed him and the Gym Leader might be away for whatever reason. But even if Brock was there it would make no difference to him. For that stupid gym leader was no match for his greatness! No one was no match for his greatness! He started to laugh manically, for a good couple minutes he laughed and he laughed and laughed some more. It was funny how pathetic this town was.
Albert needed chaos, there was none of it around in this dull and lifeless place. And so he needed to spice it up, he needed to cause mayhem. He wanted the people who lived her to be in pain, he loved other’s pain. He loved change, and what would change this dull town more then a little chaos? He looked around for a victim, one who he would hurt. Make the person scream out in agony, he wouldn’t feel any guilt. Why should he?
He was a god after all.
But what would he do, would he beat them. Kidnap them? Steal from them? There were so many things he could do. As much as he hated to admit it, he also wanted to impress his new boss since he was a rebel. And he wanted to make a name for himself as a rebel. The name Albert would be feared from far and wide, when he came to down everyone would bow to him. Worship him like he so deserved.

i'm the hero of the story ,
Sakura was lost.
She didn't know how it had happened, how she'd gotten seperated from Clear and Lilly-chan, but it had. Her inability to read maps properly had taken her down several wrong streets, and she'd some how ended up in some dark alley that made her skin crawl. For the first time in a long time, she didn't have Kari out of her Pokeball, and she wrapped her arms around herself to try and tell herself not to worry. It couldn't be said that Sakura was a coward, but the last time she had been to a big city she'd been much, much younger and clinging to her onii-chan's hand. It was times like this that she missed him most, when she wasn't sure what to do next and when she couldn't help but wonder what was going to happen to her. Shivering again, Sakura turned around to look at the alley, her mind working furiously on all the turns she'd taken.
"Ah I can't remember!" She muttered finally, her hands tugging at her brown hair while she turned in a circle again, not wanting to get any more lost. Onii-chan had always said that she should stay right where she was when she was lost. He said he'd come find her. No one was here now though, and Sakura scuffed her foot against the ground anxiously. Clear would come looking for her, and Guardy would be able to follow her smell just like Kari could. That might take them a while though, and Sakura didn't like standing in the dark alley very much. It didn't smell overly nice, and it was dark, and there were things scuttling in the shadows just out of her vision.
If anything else though, Sakura wasn't a coward and her hand found one of the Pokeballs at her waist, frowning at the shadows. "I'm not afraid of you, Pokemon." She told the shadows firmly, determined not to be afraid of something she couldn't see. She couldn't see it. Which meant it might be a ghost, a thought which sent shivers racing up and down her spine but she held her ground. It was probably just a rattata or something. Nothing that her Ran couldn't handle, or any of her Pokemon really - it was just that Ran was the one in her hand at the moment. "Unless you want to show me the way back to the Pokemon center, come out now." She called, pleased that her voice remained steady without the waver of fear she felt.
She might only be young, and not a very good trainer, but Sakura knew something was off about the situation. Something made her skin prickle, but she didn't know what it was.

QUICK SAND GOT NO SENSE OF HUMOR, I'M STILL LAUGHING LIKE HELL!
He saw it…his victum. A little girl no older then twelve, sure picking on someone much younger and weaker then you might be cowardly. But it was also heartless…and being heartless made a lot more people afraid Albert. So he would be heartless, he would make that girl cry out for mommy and daddy. And what a site that would be, to see their little girl beat. Oh….yes….it would be great.
He jumped right in front of her and grabbed her shirt and shook her. “Why are you not kneeling down before me!? Do you not fear me. Are you not afraid of someone like ME?!” He then threw the female on the ground and began to laugh again. A laugh that gave nightmares to even fearless people. “ Do you know how sad this world is little girl?! Here I am assaulting you. But where is your help, who is going to save you in this dull town? That’s what is wrong with this world, they let someone so young as you unprotected. But don’t worry little girl, your example might give other parents a kick in the pants not to let their kids runaround freely!” He said as he picked up his Pokeball and threw it releasing his Weezeing. “I’ll even beat you with a Pokemon from this region. So come on and fight me. Put up some effort before you lose!” He said as he picked up a rock and threw it near the girl, it wouldn’t hit her unless she moved in it’s way. But the fear it would cause would be better then pain.
“WHY ARE YOU SO SLOW. GET YOUR DAMN POKEBALL ALREADY LITTLE GIRL!” He laughed again, for how he loved to laugh at other’s people’s fear and pain. Oh how he loved it so. .

i'm the hero of the story ,
The slightest sound was the only warning Sakura had before there was someone infront of her. At first, relief washed over her at the sight of another person as she opened her mouth to ask directions. Only to squeal and bat at his hand as it closed around her shirt. "Don't!" She squeaked again, struggling away from him even while his words made her heart thump uneasily in her chest with fear. What was wrong with him? Why was he yelling at her, she hadn't even done anything to him. Her hand tightened on Ran's Pokeball and she would have released him had the older man not suddenly released her and pushed her away.
Flailing, she fell back, wincing as her hands scraped the ground and her knees smacked against the hard ground. Ran's Pokeball skittered out of her hands, and she let out a soft sound of dismay as it moved just out of her reach. Scowling back at the man, Sakura tried not to show how afraid she already was before that laugh made her skin crawl. "Leave me alone! I don't need help!" She yelled finally, scrambling away from him as best she could by getting to her feet and darting for her Pokemon again. "My parents know I can take care of myself, my onii-chan taught me--" A sharp squeal of shock as she darted out of the way of the rock, her green eyes filled with a mixture of anger and fear.
Ran didn't have a hope. Sakura knew that, looking at the fully evolved Pokemon. But she had to try. She didn't want him to get hurt though. Her hand tightened on Ran's Pokeball, and she took a deep breath, fixing her glare on the older man. "You don't scare me. I'll be alright. I'm not going to fight you, because Ran would get hurt. I don't want that." No doubt Ran would want to fight, but Sakura knew that even if Ran could match him in type. She was only a new trainer, with no badges at all. Maybe if she ran quick enough...Glancing behind her shoulder for an escape, she turned away from the wheezing to leave.

He laughed again when she said she didn’t need help. “Are you kidding?! Of course you need help! You’re just a pathetic weak girl, who has no hope of beating me. And you think you can protect yourself on your own. That’s the dumbest thing I have never heard in my whole life!” He said as looked at the girl, not phased by her tough words or her determination. “I really hate it when people don’t know when to give up. Can’t you see it’s hopeless, I can’t believe your even trying to act tough. I don’t give a damn about you or your family. You were just raised to be a failure, unlike me who will be a god!” He said as he smiled as she said she didn’t want to fight.
Albert raised his hand. “The innocence of youth….how pathetic it is. You don’t want to fight because your scared you’ll hurt your pokemon? How stupid. I’ll show you that your unwillingness to fight will hurt your pokemon more then you could ever dream!” He said but after he finished she ran. He laughed again and gave her a little head start, Suffercate stayed back as well. It was always good to give your prey some false hopes before they were destroyed.
After a minute he started to run after her, and so did his Pokemon. “Use smokescreen!” Albert commanded his Pokemon and released a large black cloud of smoke around the area the two were in. Covering a wide enough range to block both of their vision. But Albert had a good idea where she was. “Do you see what running has caused. You don’t know where I am, but I know where you are. I can hear your heart beat, I can hear you breath. And all you can hear is my voice…and my laugh.” On cue he started to laugh again, harder then before as he walked closer to Sakura. He didn’t know where exactly she was, so he just did a wide punch that covered a lot of area. Hopefully she’d be in that area.

i'm the hero of the story ,
If there was one thing Sakura didn't like, it was bullies. Bullies who thought they could pick on smaller people just because they thought it was okay, if someone didn't stand up they'd keep doing it. That was all this was, a case of shameless bullying and Sakura wasn't afraid. "I'm not a failure!" Sakura protested, tears stinging her eyes at the thought of how disappointed her brother would be if she cried infront of this stupid bully. She wouldn't fight him, but she wasn't going to cower before him either.
Despite her brave words, Sakura was still only a little girl and when his hand raised, she flinched back a step, afraid of what he might do to her. Then she was running, she didn't care about his words any more, as long as she could get away from him. Her heart pounded painfully as she clutched her Pokemon close and stumbled over a crack in the side walk. She couldn't hear him behind her, was it possible that she'd been fast enough to escape him? Been able to get away with her courage intact and her thoughts reeling that she was going to be attacked by and unsavoury person for the second time in so little time. It wasn't fair! It wasn't fair that they all seemed to seek her out.
Black smoke billowed about them, and Sakura sucked in a sharp breath of surprise as she found her vision suddenly impared. THe smoke burned her lungs and made her cough and retch at the horrible smell and sudden thickness of the air. She couldn't breathe with it all around her... Fear crept over her spine as his voice floated through the fog and she whirled around again. Could he really hear her struggling to breathe? The panicked sound to her stuttering heart bashing against her ribs as she sought the blackness for him. "Onii-chan." |
She whimpered after a moment, biting back on a sob as she stumbled in what she was hoping was the direction away from him. Instead she actually bounced off him before his fist smacked against the side of her face. Being only little - even for a girl her age - the blow sent her reeling to the side, stumbling with her vision swimming. Tears fell quickly, punctuated by soft sobs as she put her hand to the throbbing side of her face and bit down on her now split lip. "St-stop it, please. Wh-what do you want?" She cried, bending down slightly so if he punched again he'd barely get the wisps of her piggy-tails, and nothing more. Where was her hero now? Where was her brother when she needed his help? "Please... I just want to go... I don't want t-to fight." [/div] don't need to be saved CREDIT TO ZULU OF OTE, LYRICS FROM HERO, REGINA SPEKTOR

QUICK SAND GOT NO SENSE OF HUMOR, I'M STILL LAUGHING LIKE HELL!
“What do I want!? What a stupid question. I want to change this world. Do you know how terrible this world is? Of course you do! Your experiencing it first hand now. Why do you think no one is going to save you. Not because there is no one here, oh no I bet outside this smokescreen there are onlookers watching. But their not doing a damn thing. And do you know why?!” He went silent for a little bit, since his fist had made contact he figured she was down on the ground. He was smart so he had a basic idea where the girl was.
He lifted his leg in the air and brought it downwards hopefully kicking the girl once again. And then he would walk up and kick her once more just for shits and giggles. “It’s because no one in the world cares about anyone except themselves. And that’s what is wrong with this world. So you must be a sacrifice, to show the world how terrible it is. I’d feel bad for you, if I didn’t enjoy causing you so much pain.” He laughed again and walked up to the girl and kicked her out of the smoke. Or at least tried to, his vision was impaired after all. But when she saw the girl fly out of the smoke he laughed again and walked out of the smoke, his cape making him look cool as always.
Albert leaned down and grabbed the girl by the hair and dragged her up. “I hate to say this, but if you had put up a fight I would have let you go unharmed. But now look at you all banged up.” He grabbed the Pokeball from her clutch and laughed. “You could have saved this Pokemon, but since your weak and ran away couldn’t do a damn thing.” He laughed again and then lifted Sakura into the air and threw her to the side. “This is what you get for not worshipping me as god!”

i'm the hero of the story ,
He was wrong. He was wrong.
As long as she kept telling herself that, she would hold on to her hope. The reason no one helped her was because no one could hear her crying and screaming as the smoke invaded her lungs and her cheek continued to throb painfully. No doubt she'd sport a black and blue bruise for weeks after the incident that she was involved in now. She wanted to scream louder, but she simply couldn't find the air to do so. Every breath of the foul smoke made her chest ache and burn. All she had to do was get to her feet and stumble away.
Then the kick came.
The force of it slammed her back, and the only thing Sakura could think about was holding on tight to Ran's Pokeball while trying to push the pain away. Tears were flowing freely now, punctuated by soft little sobs as the girl scrambled away from the smoke, gulping in deep breaths of air. He was evil. Sakura hated him, she'd never hated anyone before, but she hated him right then, hated that he was hurting her for nothing, to show the world something. She was glad, glad that Lilly wasn't there to see her cower away from him and cry harder as she lifted one hand to tug at his where it pulled at her hair. She would have dealt with everything else, her litany of "I'll be alright" sustaining her through the fear and pain.
Then he took Ran.
"No!" She screamed, lunging for the Pokeball he'd tugged out of her weakened grasp. She'd been holding on as tight as she could and he had pulled Ran off her her like it was nothing. As she hit the ground for what felt like the millionth time, Sakura struggled to see straight as she brushed her hand against a cut on her forehead. "N-no! N-no give hi-him b-back! Pl-please!" Tears came faster now, and she tried to scramble up to her feet, only to stumble back down, too hurt and bruised to do anything. "He's m-mi-mine." She managed, glaring up at Albert through a blurry gaze. "M-my onii-chan will get you. H-he'll get my Ran ba-back." Despite her brave words, any movement had her flinching back and clutching her now scraped and bloody hands to her chest where she had held Ran's Pokeball. She could imagine how frightened he was, and she hated more than anything that she couldn't do anything. Couldn't even get up, because even when she tried, her legs wouldn't support her any more.

It was too boring, lacked the amount of excitement he found in big cities like Celadon or Castelia. But on account of being asked to scope out the area, that’s what Vin was doing. Scoping out the area. Boredom was etched on his face as he walked the city’s streets, ignoring the curious glances he got as his six-foot canine trailed beside him. But did he care? No. For dogs always needed their walks, and he was merely being a good trainer. Boo. Nothing new and nothing out of the ordinary going on, either. He didn’t bother to check out the gym; Brock wasn’t his concern after all, not yet at least. It was the rumors that were hopefully spreading around that concerned him. He wanted to know if word of what had happened in Viridian had reached the other cities yet, but so far news of the rather unfortunate outcome that had befallen the young pokedex holder’s pokemon didn't appear to be in the public eye yet. When news reached out, it would serve as a warning to the people. He didn’t like Damion all that much, but he liked him enough to sit and have a cup of tea with the bastard. And now, well, the young man deserved mad props for tricking the innocent girl like that. That just made it even more of a game. Stealing pokemon from pokedex holders. Well-renowned, the heroes of the world. He scoffed. Most were a joke. Platinum had been easy enough, though at the time he and his partner had left her pokemon alone. Next time he saw her, though, he wasn’t quite sure what he would do. It had been easy tricking her the first time; the second time would be no different. He actually wondered about her from time to time… like how she was doing; was her memory well yet? He’d have to visit Unova again, that’s where he had heard she had run off to… Though despite what was going on with the rebels, there was something else, something more troublesome than any pokedex holder or rebel or ranger that had appeared in his life – his little sister, Sakura. It was a shock to find her again, and in all honesty he hadn’t planned to – not now, or anytime soon – not until he was settled with his life. And that was only a maybe. Now, here she had to go walking into the mess he had created for himself and he didn’t know what to do with her. Like a game of cat and mouse, she had caught him. He had run all his life, avoiding her and his family, and the little runt had caught up to him. Well, for the time being he was safe to prowl again. She had Clear – he remembered saying he wanted to meet the punk – and Lilly to keep her company on her journey, hopefully keep him off her mind. It wasn’t safe having her, or vice versa, under his radar. He was a rebel, and sweet innocent young girls like her didn’t mix with his bad company. His thoughts were interrupted by the soft continuous whining his arcanine was making. Her giant head was pointing toward the direction of an alleyway across the street from them, and Vincent tilted a head before peering down himself. No one else was in sight on the street, so something was happening that no one else was aware of. He nodded his head once before trainer and pokemon began to walk toward the narrow street, hearing faint voices and muffled crying. Their steps were slow as they entered, Jasmine holding her breath from the black smoke and Vin covering his mouth to avoid breathing it in. He knew he was walking in on the scene like some goddamn hero, but again, did he care? No. It was ironic, yes, but no one knew who he was, just that he was some kid with a giant dog by his side, wondering what was happening. And he knew very well that he could take care of himself; he wouldn’t be stupid enough to go in if he knew it didn’t come with the possibility of a fight. Maybe it was one of his bros or hoes?, maybe it was some random shmuck terrorizing Pewter’s citizens. Whatever was happening, though, sounded like someone was getting ambushed, and whoever was the victim sounded young. And female. And… familiar. His heart skipped a beat. But… no. That couldn’t possibly be her. But as much as he wanted to believe that, he nearly gave himself away and choked when he heard her last words. M-my onii-chan will get you. H-he'll get my Ran ba-back.Onii-chan… Ran… no way it was coincidence. But WHAT was going on? “Sakura?…!” He called loudly as soon as he stepped out of the smoke. There was a panic in his voice. He hadn’t heard himself sounding so panicked in so long. Memories surfaced of times when Sakura would slip off unnoticed, and Vin would panic but always find her in the end and then scold her for wandering off on her own. But now, here she was, on the ground, the poor thing beaten and crying. His sister. His sister. His baby sister. On instinct, he ran over to her, not bothering to hide the obvious concern on his face. She was hurt all over. The poor thing. He could have taken her in his arms right then, but when he looked up and met eyes with a young man, who – in fact, he recognized as being part of the rebel force, holding Ran’s pokeball in his hand, and smiling like a goddamn prick – yeah, well, he was going to deal with this another way. By letting the idiot bastard pay for his actions. It was that smile that had made him snap. He lunged toward the man, knocking him off balance and sending both of them crashing down onto the cement. He was going to give him what he deserved. Make him feel the pain by having his ass handed to him. Make him taste blood. Jasmine could have easily attacked him had Vin asked, but this was a battle he wanted to deal with himself. And he started with a raised fist, sending it crashing onto Albert’s cheek with a loud smack. “You little shit,” He growled, lifting him by his cape collar, intent on choking him until he could no longer breathe. “She’s just a little girl, you idiot, you could have just asked,” It sounded horrible, to suggest simpler methods to steal her pokemon, but that thought didn’t cross his mind. His mind was flooded with hate. He hated him, hated him so much as he thought about what he had done to Sakura, and he would kill him if he pissed him off even further. “You didn’t have to fucking beat her!” He raised his fist for another blow. But behind him, Jasmine’s consistent whining made him stop. He had forgotten Sakura was still there. It was too late, but he couldn’t let her watch any further. Throwing the man off to the side by his collar, he sighed in frustration as he got up and walked over to the little girl, cradling her in his arms before placing her gently atop his arcanine’s back. “Jazz, take her. Take her and get out of here, but wait for me to come back.” Jasmine nodded at his instructions. Vin gave no more words, but merely turned his back on the dog and his sister before facing the other rebel in sight again. “I’ll be courteous. Anything to say before I beat the shit out of you?” [/style][style=border: 4px solid #181818; width: 415px; background-color: 272727; padding-top: 4px; padding-bottom: 3px; text-align; center; text-transform: uppercase; font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: 10px; letter-spacing: 2px; color: dddddd;]MANY RAMBLES ❅ HAWK LET ME PUNCH HIM OK! ❅ TEMPLATE BY SEA OF OTE[/style] |

♕ WE'RE TAKING CONTROL we get what we want, we do what you don't, dirt and glitter cover the floor, we're pretty and sick, we're young and we're bored
This power felt amazing, beating on those lower then him. That was what a god did, he showed their power to those who were weaker then him. Albert did not give a damn who he was demonstrating on, a little girl, a elderly man, a champion, a gym leader. They will all be judged equally by the greatness that is Albert.
Before he could really enjoy causing pain to this girl he got shoved to the ground with another guy…above him. “You insolent little prick, you dare put yourself above me! The great-“ His crazy god speech was interrupted with a punch to the face which kind of dazed him a little and his mouth was kinda bleeding. But it did not phase him too much. What pissed him off was when the other man grabbed his cape….no one dare laid hands on the cloth of a god. “Did you think that hurt? A mortal punching me?! Do you have any idea who I am?!" His insolence was just too great, Albert would have to punish the man for his sins.
He smiled when the other man said he could say a few words….but it was a creepy smile. An unsettling smile, a smile that had something planned. But Albert didn’t say anything, instead he spat a bit of blood in the rebel’s face. Which spoke more then most words could. He then prepared for a counter attack and would try and grab the other man’s hands. Then lift himself up and kick the jerk with both of his legs. “Facing a god?! That girl must have been important for you, but I wonder……IS SHE WORTH DIEING FOR?!”He said laughing even if his attack didn’t work. A powerful laugh too, but also an insane one. .

i'm the hero of the story ,
She had to be dreaming. For a moment, Sakura thought that she must have passed out eventually, because she heard her onii-chan. It was like when she'd get lost, and then he'd come find her, and she'd always cry and say she didn't mean to. He'd always scold her. It would always be fine. It hurt too much to be a dream though, and she looked up painfully up at the shadow infront of her, instinctively cowering back and bringing her hands up to shield her face. "D-don't... O-onii-ch-chan?" Her pleading trailed off into a hopeful sound, and she slowly brought her hands down to look up at her brother, scrambling so she could reach one hand up to him as he stepped away. "Onii-chan.." It said a lot for how much Albert put her through that she didn't even flinch when he moved to punch Albert, merely moving so she could curl against Jasmine's side miserably.
Everything had gone so wrong today, she wanted Ran back, she wanted to pretend this had never happened. She also wanted to go home, she wanted to be back at the beginning of everything. When she was little, and things would scare her, she'd always go running to her big brother, her one protector. Sure parents were lovely for that, but no one could chase the ghosts away like Vin could. Then he'd left and she'd been determined to find him and rescue him from whatever had stopped him from coming home. She'd promised she'd find him. Yet, here he was again, saving her. Turning her face against Jasmine's fur as she listened to the scuffling that was her brother and the other man, she had a brief thought that she hoped her Onii-chan kicked him too.
Albert's words made the girl panic though, and she looked back up, horrified. "No! Don't hurt him!" She begged, looking between Vin and Albert desperately. "Y-you can h-hurt me. I don-don't care. But do-don't hurt my onii-chan pl-please!" More tears spilled from her eyes, and she buried her face in her hands again, shoulders shaking with her breaths. Why did he have to try and hurt people? Why had he taken Ran? Why couldn't he just leave them all alone. Once again when Vin stepped towards her, this time touching her to pick her up, Sakura's first reaction was to flinch away. To bring her hands up to push against his chest before realising and wrapping both arms around his neck.
"I-I don-don't want to go, o-onii-chan. Wh-what if y-you do-don't come b-back again? He has Ran.." She pleaded, refusing to let go of his shirt, despite the stinging in her hands as she clung to his hem. Looking up at him desperately as she tried to steady herself on Jasmine's back, she tried to stop the sobs that kept making her chest hurt. She didn't want to be alone again, in the last few moments she'd felt more alone than at any other stage in her life. More than when she'd travelled without Clear or Lilly-chan near by. Releasing his shirt as she lent against Jasmine's fur, she closed her eyes briefly, struggling to hold them open when she wanted nothing more than to sleep so the pain would go away. "S-sorry, nii-chan. S-sorry I wa-wasn't st-strong enough. S-sorry Ran.."
