i'm the hero of the story ,
"No, see, the point is that men are able to accept women as they are and embrace them for their power, or for their weaknesses, whichever is more prevalent. Well, the prevalent part will be what others notice. But the thing about being in love is to accept the other person for all that they are! Everything that they're worth. The good and the bad." N paused in his speech and looked up at his companion, a starry-eyed Garbodor who was clenching her 'hands' beneath her chin, staring dreamily at her trainer. You simply know how ladies work, N. She cooed. N felt himself blush slightly and he straightened his back, swerving his neck to the side a little, almost like he was suddenly straightening up with confidence.
He was pulled out of his reverie with a light smack to his shoulder, making him fall forward a bit. He turned around and looked up at Princess Sadie in shock. You're getting cocky! She hissed, waving her arms around his head, creating clanking rattling noises that made him shiver. "No I'm not! I'm just telling you what I think love is!" He cried, his voice getting shrill. He was losing his composure. Fast. These days, N broke down far less often than he usually did. Now now, don't get upset. He could feel his chest shattering. The first since his new life-changing experience. He wished he wasn't this weak. He wished that Sadie didn't have to see him in this state.
He dropped to his knees on the grassy floor, staring up at the echoing canopies above him, tears rolling down his cheeks. "What's wrong with me, Sadie?" He asked quietly, not looking at the Garbodor who was nervously trying to figure out the best way to console her trainer. There's..There's nothing wrong-"Yes there is." He could have shouted, but the fact that he was quiet was what made it even more frightening for his loving pokemon. He dropped his head into his hands and folded down so that his beat was resting on his feet and his head was bowed. His shoulders were shaking softly as he tried to sort through his thoughts, figure out what he was feeling. Princess Sadie stood by, watching her crying trainer and still wondering how to help. He looked like he needed someone to talk to. But she wasn't the one. She cast a glance around, hoping beyond hope that someone would come along.

Post by YELLOW DE VIRIDIAN GROVE on Jul 28, 2011 14:46:22 GMT -5
[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] | [atrb=style, background-color: #494949; padding: 10px; -webkit-border-radius: 0 0 20 20; float: right; margin-top: -4px; width: 450px;] Yellow was lost, there was nothing else she could do but admit it. It was the first time she'd been out of Kanto for something not related to saving the world (or hunting down giant birds that influenced two almost disasters) and she honestly had no idea where she was going. She was supposed to have been meeting White someplace called...Nimbasa? The blond haired girl had managed to get some directions from a kind old man after getting off the boat and taking her first real steps into the new, far off region, though as she was finding out, those directions were less than clear, especially from the air.
She'd had to touch down on land to give her Pisuke a rest, the poor Butterfree exhausted after the long flight and confusing directions. And losing the paper that had said directions on it midway through the route. It had caught the wind and blown right out of her hands, carried away faster than Pisuke could keep up with. Chasing after it had also taken them way off course, to the point that when they landed, they'd landed in a beautiful forest.
Yellow really couldn't complain about the new scenery though. It reminded her so much of her own forest back home that it was almost like she never left. There really was nothing like being in the middle of a forest, trees on all sides. The feeling of life, of hope even, was almost tangible, and it gave the place an atmosphere she didn't think she'd find anywhere outside of Kanto. Not that she'd really ever explored the other regions, that is.
She called back her Butterfree a few moments after landing, instead letting her little Pikachu out again. Chuchu wasn't one to stay in her Pokeball for long unless it was needed, like when Pisuke was flying. Yellow wasn't going to risk losing her signature Pokemon like she'd managed to lose the directions. The moment the directions crossed her mind again, she was back to being worried, the forest's distraction temporarily gone. Maybe there'd be someone in the forest who would be willing to help her out, give her better, easier to follow from the air directions that she'd be sure not to lose. Maybe.
So with Chuchu on her shoulder, she set off through the woods, not as stressed as she knew she should have been in such a predicament. It was a nice walk nonetheless, and the girl passed by all sorts of Pokemon that she'd only heard of before, so few being native to Kanto, especially around Viridian. And then she heard something. At first she thought it was just a Pokemon, but it sounded more like..crying?
She moved forward tentatively, looking around, and finally spotted a green haired man kneeling on the ground, shoulders shaking. So the soft crying sounds were from him? Hoping he was ok, she took a few more steps forward, worry all over her face and her own troubles momentarily forgotten.
"Are you all right?" she asked once she was close enough. "Are you hurt?"

i'm the hero of the story ,
He couldn't catch his breath. He didn't know why he was crying so hard. There was nothing bad happening around him. Why was he so upset? White was his friend. Finally, something that he could work with. While she got her head on straight and while he got his head together too. But why was he so upset? He looked down at his hands, biting his lower lip as he heard Sadie behind him starting to flail around nervously. He heard something in the back of his mind but he didn't register what it was. Instead, he focused on trying to get his mind going in a straight path. But it was close to impossible. He was a jumbled mess of love, adoration, confusion, desire, and many other ideas that were currently clashing together as he folded his legs beneath him, arms extended forward.
When he heard someone speak, he stayed facing down. He then re-focused in, trying to process who it was that was behind him. Light voice? He couldn't come up with a name. He turned to Princess Sadie who looked behind her, mildly alarmed that someone had stumbled upon them but also grateful that she wasn't dealing with N's tearfulness by herself. She gave a desperate wave at Yellow, nervously looking down at N. "I'm...fine.." He said quietly, sniffling some. He wiped at his face, wiping it down on his legs as he took a deep breath or two. Getting more calm. "Thank you for asking, though." He smiled cheerfully before getting up and brushing himself off, glancing up at Princess Sadie who nudged him forward, toward the new woman.
"I'm N, pleasure to meet you." He said quietly, extending a hand. Oh boy, the shield again. The shield that he used to block everyone out and make sure that they didn't get close to him. Sadie recognized it. She frowned at her trainer and then scowled, wondering if she should hit him to make him snap out of it. She hated it when he got into this mood. She hated when he couldn't express his real opinions and he had this facade up. It worried her terribly. "This is my lovely Garbodor, Princess Sadie." He smiled warmly up at her, gently petting her arm. His face seemed to be softening as he watched his pokemon and then turned to the other girl, a small tear at the edge of his eye. He wiped it away quickly and then looked down at the girl with a smile, waiting for an introduction.
