We are an advanced RPing site. Sorry folks, but spelling, grammar and punctuation are very important in role play! If the posting requirements and the above criteria are not met we will not accept your application. Our forum is rated PG-13, members of proboards sites should be over 13 years of age so this really shouldn't be much of an issue. Keep it classy. Use common sense, if things get too 'hot and heavy' have the post fade to black. If you wanna go past the rating, take it to PMs, MSN, AIM, all that off-board. Please do not ask about your app in the cbox/PM/anywhere else on site until it has been a full week, yes folks, that means a full 168 hours! If you ask before that time is up we will save your app until very, very last and kindly remind you to reread the rules. Ask questions, the staff won't bite! If you feel the urge to ask about the rules or anything else on the site, please do, we would be more than happy to assist you. OOC out of character Please make your display name your character's first and last name in all caps, we have had a lot of new members, so both names are required. You may have as many characters as you can keep active, if your characters become inactive you will not be allowed to create any more characters. Canons should post more regularly than original characters. You may not have more than three canons unless given express permission. One account per character, this makes it easier to manage members and to see which characters are active. Be respectful of staff and other members, this means do not say something that could be considered offensive. This behavior will not be tolerated and banning will ensue. GRAPHICS get the picture? No signatures that will stretch the board, this doesn't need much explanation, they will be changed to a link in your profile. Icons can be no larger than 100x100 You are not required to have an avatar or signature, but it looks nice if you have an avatar of your play by. Please do not use avatars of other people's play bys, it gets confusing. Give credit, please be sure the images you use are not copyrighted, also please follow the image provider's rules! IC in character OOC and IC are seperate, rude characters do not mean rude players, keep an open mind! Don't powerplay or godmod, basically do not control other people's characters. Your character is not a god, if they get in a fight they will get hurt (so will their Pokemon), also remember that your character cannot read minds. Use spell check, just click the little spell check button at the bottom of the post and we will love you forever. Posts should be over 300 words, this isn't that large an expectation, we understand if you have an off day every once in a while but your posts should average at least 300 words or more. If you cannot manage a post of that length on a day, then simply do not post. There are no levels on this site, so your Pokemon can use any attack under the level fifty (for those fully evolved, thirty or under for those under their final evolution). If you want to use attacks over that level you must PM a staff member for permission. TMs must be purchased from the Pokemart. HMs come naturally to Pokemon who were able to learn them in the game so they don't need to be bought. Moves learned through tutor and breeding are allowed without cost. Wild Pokemon encounters are not moderated due to the sheer number of members and our leniency in teams, new additions to teams can be bought at the pokemart for a certain amount of pokedollars. More posting means more pokemon! Pokemon that need to be traded in the games can be leveled up through regular training here. It wouldn't be very nice if your character had a Pokemon since childhood and had to trade them away so the Pokemon could become the most powerful! BY SLANTED OF OTE
