As children we knew but later forgot: that the things hiding in the darkness are real. But unfortunately it's not the bogeyman under the bed, easily defeated by a night lamp, a thick blanket and a gentle voice outside the door. No, the true Monsters are deadly, and for them humans are just food, entertainment and sometimes a nuisance. And most humans are oblivious up until the moment they turn into food or game, and they are completely defenseless against this threat.
There are others who are not defenceless, though. They are the Protectors, an organisation who has been fighting for centuries to protect the humans from those dangers. They have been too successful it seems, because nowadays fewer than ever believe that Werewolves and Vampires do exist. But the Protectors are still there, still needed, working hidden in the same shadows as their opponents.
This is their story.
