Told to raise a beautiful group of flower pokemon. At four, her mother's wishes were all that Nova wanted to grant, and so she dreamt of the day when she would choose between a sun and leaf stone for the grass pokemon. Eventually, as she aged and her rebellion kicked in, Meda was put to the back as a Gloom. Unable to fight her love for the flowers much longer, she bought a sunstone and evolved her into the Bellossom she is today, loyal and true to her mistress. The Bellossom's famous dances often also win lots of applause when featured in contests, which Nova is always happy about.

COLUMBA NAME: lumba SPECIES: cherrim GENDER: female EGG GROUP: grass MOVES: lucky chant solarbeam take down worry seed petal dance sunny day magical leaf morning sun THE POKEMON: Columba is a faithful little Cherrim who loves the sun and loves not having her petals closed. Often using sunny day when she's out of her pokeball, she clings to light like nothing else. This being said, she wasn't always this way. As a Cherubi, she was often used at nighttime, and Nova loved her very much. She would help track down berries that were ripe before people went in search during the day, and they became fast friends that way. When she was evolved, her attitude changed, and though Nova was attempting to rebel from her "ladylike" ways, she still loved the petaled pokemon quite thoroughly - especially when she brought home her first ribbon with a blossoming flower performance using Sunny Day and Solarbeam.

TUCANA NAME: cana SPECIES: petilil GENDER: female EGG GROUP: grass MOVES: aromatherapy giga drain stun spore magical leaf synthesis mega drain sleep powder leech seed THE POKEMON: Tucana was found only very recently as Nova was travelling Unova. She came across a group of Liligant and knew that despite no wanting to prove her mother right, she did love her flower pokemon. Her attempts to catch it's evolved form were all futile, and it was only when she was giving up that Cana approached here and twirled so similarly to her evolutions that Nova figured out to capture her. They became fast friends, and often dance together in the bar on quiet nights, just having fun. Cana and Nova make a good team in the contest ring, often in sync with one another.

LACERTA NAME: lacy SPECIES: maractus GENDER: female EGG GROUP: grass MOVES: solar beam sunny day sucker punch petal dance ingrain acupressure giga drain needle arm THE POKEMON: Lacerta was an interesting find for Nova, also on her recent trip to Unova. When she was making her way through the desert, she was surprised to see two beautiful flowers sticking out of the sand. When she approached, she saw that the flowers actually belonged to a rather prickly Maractus. Still wanting the lovely appearance to her team, she caught Lacy and afterwards learned about her maracca like abilities in her hands. The sounds are often lended to Nova's naughtier dances when she feels a little more eager to salsa.

ORION NAME: ori SPECIES: sunkern GENDER: male EGG GROUP: grass MOVES: razor leaf worry seed endeavor leech seed grass whistle ingrain mega drain growth THE POKEMON: The Sunkern known as Orion was given to Nova on her travels quite some time ago. Unable to find another sun stone in any location, the young woman worked hard to train him as best she could so that when he was evolved into a Sunflora he would be the best he could. Ori is quite stubborn. He doesn't particularly want to be a flower like the rest of the team as he is a boy, however he knows that Nova appreciates flowers more than anything, and wants to please her, so instead he works hard to perform well in any contests he may be entered in.

VELA NAME: vela SPECIES: roselia GENDER: female EGG GROUP: fairy & grass MOVES: toxic spikes giga drain grass whistle magical leaf leech seed mega drain stun spore growth THE POKEMON: Vela is perhaps the most vain pokemon you will ever come across, much to Nova's joy. The Roselia was basking in the sunlight, showing off her roses when she was come across by Nova, and the flower-collector of course had to have her. The battle was long and rough, and Nova's other pokemon came out worse for wear than she'd expected, but she was successful. Vela loves to participate in beauty contests just to get a good idea of how very lovely she is. Her favourite move is to close her hand-roses up tightly and then spread their petals to shower the floor with them, something Nova finds funny. Vela cannot dance like some of her other pokemon, so in her other employment doesn't do so grandly, however she is still one of the team.
