For a few very short weeks she was stationed in Unova outside of the department store - a very unusual place for a city patrol ranger. As she was guarding, a few Gothorita attacked, and seeing they were cute psychic types, Peyton decided to catch one. The two didn't have much time to bond before the rebels came into existence, and as she was making the long journey home to Johto she was attacked by a rebel force member. She can't remember anything that happened, just that when she woke up the next day five of her pokemon had been taken and she had been left with the Gothorita who was not at all trusting of her. Knowing she had to get her other pokemon back, she and Telle - who was at that point known as Rita- began to train hard, learning one another's signals over time. It took a few good months of training but eventually she evolved into Gothitelle and they had learned one another's methods. Trust and friendship grew between the pair, both keen to get the rest of their team back from the terrible people known as the Rebel Forces.
