Even after he came to live with his aunt and uncle when he was seven, they had heard, and he was forbidden to even touch a Pokeball until he was fifteen, when he left school to enter the ranger academy. His "parents", knowing they couldn't keep him from Pokemon any longer, gifted him with two Pokeballs, and the two have become his main pair ever since. ANTE NAME: Ante SPECIES: Purrloin GENDER: Female EGG GROUP: Field MOVES: Foul Play Faint Attack Slash Assurance Hone Claws Fake Out Pursuit Sand Attack THE POKEMON: Ante was Erik's third Pokemon, a show cat given to him by a kind elderly woman who had far too many of them running around. What she didn't tell him was that the cat was her worst behaved, and what he didn't tell her after was that the cat liked pretty things and considered him one of her favorites. While definitely not as strong a battler as her teammates, Ante does have her specialty: looking cute and catching people off guard. She gets along well with all the members of the team, even though the big ones and the little ones have lines drawn.

BLIND NAME: Blind SPECIES: Absol GENDER: Male EGG GROUP: Field MOVES: Sucker Punch Slash Razor Wind Bite Double Team Future Sight Detect Megahorn THE POKEMON: Erik hates dogs. While that fact is hardly common knowledge and is something he tries to keep under wraps, it manages to catch him off guard sometimes, like the first time he met Blind. He mistook it for a dog like creature at first and though he'll never admit it, actually ran a bit away and up a tree. It was then he realized it really was a bit more catlike than dog like and it was actually quite friendly and he had nothing to worry about.

SHUFFLE NAME: Shuffle SPECIES: Zoroark GENDER: Male EGG GROUP: Field MOVES: U-turn Night Slash Foul Play Counter Dark Pulse Punishment Agility Scary Face THE POKEMON: Shuffle was the last Pokemon to join Erik's team, although not too long after he caught blind. The Zoroark had been being mistreated by his trainer when Erik rescued it, showing it the love and attention that all his Pokemon require. It's since become one of his powerhouses, though it gets along with Blind better than anyone else on the entire team, including Erik himeself.
