"Oh, hi! I'll be out in just a second!" You hear a light voice call out from somewhere in the house. You decided to take a look around. You've walked into a house, which looks small enough to hold a crowded family of four. You're standing in the foyer, on a rug that says "Welcome" with a picture of a smiling Eevee. There's a large desk in front of you, preventing you from looking further back into the home, but still looking out of place. The desk is a light brown wood, almost taking up the entire foyer. You peek over the edge and see papers scattered across the desk, pictures of pokemon looking up at you with a computer tucked into the left side and a huge basket of treats on the right. You hear shuffling and you resume your place in front of the desk.

A medium-sized blonde man comes from around the corner, grinning widely. "Hello! Welcome to Jefferson's Jewels. I'm Russell Jefferson." He extends his hand to give you a firm handshake. "Come on back this way and I'll explain how things work here." He looks confident, well put together, but a little sleep-deprived, probably from running his business by himself. He leads you into the main living room, where there are toys scattered on the floor in front of a small television set. He takes you down the side hallway, smiling over his shoulder at you. "At Jefferson's Jewels, we take great pride in our daycare system. I personally see to it that the pokemon that a trainer trusts with us is bred with only the best, producing an egg that is the best of both world." He smiled, coming into a bedroom which had been converted into a faux rock pen where a Lairon and Rhyhorn were curled next to each other, snoozing quietly. Russell smiled affectionately at them. "We assure our customers the production of an egg, though we cannot guarantee its gender, moves, or abilities. We can breed a pokemon for strength, appearance, type, size, and temperment but no breeder can assure anything one hundred percent."

He closes the door of the Rhyhorn and Lairon and begins walking back down the hallway, heading for the stairs. "Once the eggs are produced, we provide each egg to the rightful owner for a fee. This fee is dependent on what we think the egg will be, which pokemon bred for the egg, and how many of the eggs are produced." He began walking up the stairs. "If the owner can't pay for the egg or eggs, we return the pokemon to its owner and sell the eggs to other buyers who are interested. It works like an adoption agency, I suppose. Well, each owner who comes in and asks to breed with one of our pokemon has to pay a small fee and then come back in two weeks to collect the eggs. The fee to keep the pokemon here is returned to them if they take the eggs. This fee is also determined by the species of the pokemon and its temperment so it's a case-by-case basis, not a flat rate. If the eggs aren't taken by the trainer, however, we keep that fee and give them their pokemon back." He turned to the left and opened the first door there, looking inside. It was a quiet nursery where a woman sat on the edge of her seat, looking over each of the small cribs where little eggs sat, rolling around back and forth in their cribs. "We have eggs and baby pokemon up for adoption." He added as he closed the door quietly, going to the next one.

"We're on a very small scale right now, due to funds, but we're making ends meet." He assures you, pushing open the next door and showing a room of baby pokemon prancing around while a kind-faced woman separates the little spats that spout up. Russell gives her a nod and closes the door. "Overall, we have a group of pokemon here that are built for breeding, and we're always excited for more business. More business means more life to adorable pokemon and who doesn't want that?" He smiles, leading up back down the stairs and returning to the foyer, stepping behind the desk while you return to the front of it. "These are the pokemon we have that are available for breeding. You can take your pick of them and feel free to let me know if you have any questions." He smiles, spreading out six pieces of paper along the front of the desk so that you can look over them.
