Solastella is a new Pokémon role-play site set up late last year, and it aims to be a breath of fresh air from other role-play sites. From the calm, relaxed atmosphere to the glorious island-hopping setting, the democratically elected upper staff to the member-focused liberal role-play, Solastella is the perfect place if you’re looking for a gentle, close-knit community and a quirky world, filled with different currencies, languages and cities to explore. Solastella maintains a high quality of role-play, and is a completely literate site.
In keeping with the idea of freedom - a vacation from cumbersome restrictions and rules - Solastella lets you choose broadly what happens to your character. Whether they want to follow the path of Co-ordinator, Trainer or Researcher/Ranger, they are welcome to land on Romulus Isle and make their way through the archipelago. The rich world is filled with flavour and character: there is a Gazette that members can write articles in to contribute to the site canon and a compendium of information about the characters, places and concepts of Solastella.
As time passes in Solastella, the game changes - the exchange rate fluctuates, seasons come and go, though paradise is beautiful in any weather, and swarms change with them. Over time, there are elections for the upper staff, while the courts exist to ensure all disputes are dealt with calmly and fairly. Solastella is perfect for people who want a break, but don’t want to quit. Whether you’re new or old, big or small, it’s the perfect place to being a new journey- one unlike any other.
