Emi was around six, while Nadeshiko was a recently hatched Ralts. The two quickly grew to appreciate each other, and were almost always seen together. They have since grown even closer, forming a strong bond. Nadeshiko and Emi are very empathetic towards each other, and are able to pick up what the other is feeling without too much trouble. Over the years, they have also managed to influence the other in decision making, traits, and habits. Nadeshiko has picked up many of her trainer's mannerisms.
