Even in the meager light offered by the scarce moon, she was thin. Tiny in build, if not truly in height. Bare footed, she moved with the same certainty that most found in the comfort of their shoes, paying no heed to the cold that seeped through her skin. It was questionable really, if she really felt it. Endlessly, she twirled in shapeless patterns that at first glance had no shape to them (probably not on the third or fourth glance either), but seemed to amuse her. Around her, pink hair seemed to move of its own conscious thought, drifting around on the breeze to curl around her -- Unaffected, it seemed, by the rain. Perhaps it was the pure joy in the way she tilted her head back to let the rain drops fall against her skin, or perhaps it was the way the white dress somehow seemed to still catch the breeze even as it plastered against her skin. Maybe it was the fact that the dress was tattered in places and dirty in others, but that her skin showed no sign of scratch or scar at the first glance. Whatever it was, there was no denying the Auri had her own little world and music to dance to, and that alone made her seem otherwordly. Green eyes gazed almost longingly up at the moon, as Auri let her breath puff out in front of her. For a moment, those same eyes watched the foggy air twist and coil like serpents before it was gone and she blinked to clear her thoughts. Not that he thoughts were clear... So many people looked at her strangely when she spoke of things. Like the wind, that even now played with her hair and whispered things in a language she'd forgotten how to speak. Once, she'd heard it, clear as crystal in her ears. She'd forgotten exactly what it had said, but the knowledge that it had spoken. For a moment she'd held it in her hands like a living thing, and let the breath brush over her skin like a friend she'd known forever, she'd touched the wind because she understood it. For a single instant, she'd known complete and utterly clarity. In another breath, the name shattered and Auri was once again left to dance in the shattered crystal shards of her mind, alone. She didn't mind that though. Being alone in her mind. So many people liked to pretend that their own little worlds were pefect and whole, always untouched. Auri knew better. Her cracks had become shattered, and now the sunlight poured in from everywhere, and gave the world a new and splendid light. Oh the light. It filled her mind, and made it sing! Even the moonlight, the gentler touch of illumination that turned everything to silver crystals, while the raindrops whispered a story as they fell on her skin. Auri had stopped feeling the cold, or maybe she just forgot to alert herself to the fact she was, indeed, cold. Whether being alone in the middle of the rain bothered the young woman or not wasn't really clear, but then, a lot of things about Auri weren't clear. Regardless of the mud sticking to her feet or the way her dress clung to her skin, Auri's green eyes were fixed on the stars above her, thoughts already caught on the wind.
