He'd always been a curious child, wanting to know how things got put together and how they worked, and when one day he met a Pokemon that wasn't living but that as still moving, he wanted to know how. He couldn't take it apart, couldn't figure out what it was, so he invented to try and redo what made his Golett. While he hasn't succeeded, it has given him something to work towards, and Tesla has been by his side the entire time.

EDISON NAME: Edison SPECIES: Klink GENDER: Genderless EGG GROUP: Mineral MOVES: Charge Beam Bind Gear Grind Thundershock Charge Vice Grip THE POKEMON: Jareth's biggest distraction and the source of a good amount of inspiration, Edison is what Jareth stares at when he needs an idea. Something about the gears turning makes the gears in his head turn, but he's very vague about it and won't really clarify. It was his second Pokemon, after Edison, but is just as much one of his favorites. Not as strong a battler as some of his others, but just as much a member of his team.

FRANKLIN NAME: Franklin SPECIES: Ambipom GENDER: Male EGG GROUP: Field MOVES: Baton Pass Nasty Plot Double Hit Agility Fury Swipes Swift Bounce Fake Out THE POKEMON: Franklin was an accident. Jareth never meant to catch another Pokemon, he was content with the two that he had at the moment, but there was Aipom that was always coming up whenever he was tinkering outside. At first, Jareth thought it was looking for treats, but he soon found out that the Aipom had the same talent and curiosity he did, and together they worked double time to rebuild the Poketech that Jareth had been fiddling with for improvements. They were such a great team that Jareth just had to add Franklin to his actual team, and they've been partners ever since.

MORSE NAME: Morse SPECIES: PorygonZ GENDER: Genderless EGG GROUP: Mineral MOVES: Discharge Signal Beam Recover Conversion Psybeam Conversion2 Lock On Embargo THE POKEMON: Morse was a gift from a friend of the family, given to Jareth once the woman heard about his talent for inventing. Jareth had always had trouble with any sort of programming that was involved with any of his new toys, and Morse helped him make things work despite his trouble with coding. Although he's learned quite a bit over time, he still relies on Morse to double check his work and make sure his experiments aren't accidentally programmed to destroy the entire Pokeworld. Unlike most Porygons, he stays in his Pokeball and not in a computer for the majority of the time.
