She figured that if she needed any sort of help, she could get it when the time came. Her first obstacle was just traveling right through Sinnoh, the poor girl not able to swim and otherwise unable to cross some of the bigger water traps. Her grandmother, upon hearing about the travelling difficulties, gave Skyler her Lapras to take with her, saying she was too old for Pokemon anyone. Lapras is mainly used for water transportation and exploration and for keeping Skyler from drowning.

AO NAME: Ao SPECIES: Emolga GENDER: Male EGG GROUP: Field group MOVES: Flash Discharge Acrobatics Volt Switch Encore Agility Quick Attack Roost THE POKEMON: Skyler is easily distracted, and though she had seen no real trace of any Legendary Pokemon in Sinnoh, rumors sent her to Unova, where she spent the next good bit of her time. Ao was caught one night when she needed a light. Or rather, was befriended into a Pokeball one night, as Lir isn't one for battles. Ao tends to stay out of his Pokeball and either stay on her shoulder or fly through the air next to her.

KU NAME: Ku SPECIES: Zangoose GENDER: Male EGG GROUP: Field group MOVES: Strength Rock Smash Rock Climb Headbutt X-Scissor Crush Claw Iron Tail Night Slash THE POKEMON: Zangoose was her third Pokemon. Skyler gave up in Unova rather quickly, instead traveling to Hoenn, where soon enough she needed a Pokemon to move rocks and break rocks and oh hey, there was a Zangoose to do it for her. Ao actually battled it, it was caught, and then hey, she was actually able to get around a lot easier.

SHU NAME: Shu SPECIES: Tropius GENDER: Male EGG GROUP: Monster and Grass MOVES: Fly Defog Magical Leaf Synthesis Leaf Tornado Stomp Body Slam Leaf Blade THE POKEMON: She actually spent a good deal of time in Hoenn, to the point that she found herself hating traversing the region on foot. Someone suggested finding a Flying Pokemon and so she did, the Tropius being the first one she came across. Shu was shy and she had to actually go hunting for it once she spotted it, but it's been one of her two her main forms of transportation ever since, her Skarmory her only other one.

INDRA NAME: Indra SPECIES: Skarmory GENDER: Male EGG GROUP: Flying MOVES: Cut Fly Night Slash Air Slash Steel Wing Agility Drill Peck Assurance THE POKEMON: Skarmory was the last Pokemon Skyler caught, with the final unbeatable obstacle she came across being small little trees. She couldn't get around them, but she saw a Skarmory cutting one down. It was battled, caught, and suddenly she was able to get pretty much anywhere she wanted. There was nothing left to keep her from her legend hunting now. >D
