They didn't want their son to become a homeless musician, like it seemed like he was bent on becoming. He obediently raised Micah into a Mantine and became a bit more passionate about caring for her. He'd never been much for pokemon, but his little sister seemed more drawn to them. But Lionel slowly became closer to Micah, creating a tight bond with her. Eventually, he set out to compete in contests with her, much to her excitement. It seemed as though Micah had a knack for contests and loved the competition. She's very excitable and loves being out of her pokeball. She doesn't like the band very much, but that's only because she's never really met the pokemon of the other members.
