Hearthome City, the fifth largest city in the five regions, and the largest city in the Sinnoh region. It was here that several attractions were located. Super Contest Hall, Amity Square, the Hearthome Gym, among others. And today was a beautiful day, especially for a visit to Amity Square. At around noon, a brown-haired teenager, garbed in a sweater, slacks, and an odd pair of boots stepped into the town. This was Sam Todd, a trainer from Saffron City, a young man traveling through the Sinnoh region for the first time.
As he walked down the streets, Sam looked around him. The place was twice as large as his home, Saffron City. But thankfully, Sam was no strangers to large cities, having visited the top three largest cities himself. The most notable attraction, the Super Contest Hall, was of no interest to Sam, a trainer. He had no cute Pokemon to use in order to access Amity Square. However, it was the Hearthome Gym, run by the Ghost-specialist Fantina, that was his main destination. And even if he wasn't going to challenge any gyms just yet, it was still good to do some exploration while he could.
In the meantime, an odd building caught his attention. The brown-haired trainer walked up to the building, hands dug deep into his pockets. Sam quietly pushed the door open and looked around. The building wasn’t anything like he had seen in Kanto, Johto, or Unova. He had heard stories about cathedrals, but had never found one until now. Even if he wasn’t the religious type, he couldn’t help but admire the architecture of the place.
Eventually, the sixteen year-old took a seat next on a bench, not noticing whether or not anyone was sitting there, only that the area was free for someone to sit.
