She came across a Larvesta one after noon, and the strange bug and fire combination struck her instantly as a rare find. She caught her, and realised later as she evolved with careful care, that the pokemon was a true rare find indeed. Not only was the beautiful fire-moth something to see, it had rare moves and power, and she quickly decided to keep training and raising her. Maryahana, or Maryah as she was eventually named came to love her trainer, and often remains out of her ball, protectively watching over the team from either the skies, or perched on Verity's shoulder. Maryahana has produced a great number of eggs, and many of her children have been given to those she considers worthy.

SAVANNAHLY NAME: savvy SPECIES: kirlia GENDER: female EGG GROUP: amorphous group MOVES: Heal Pulse Magical Leaf Lucky Chant Teleport Double Team Confusion Growl Synchronoise THE POKEMON: Savannahly was caught on a trip through her home region of Hoenn, and the small then-Ralts was very eager to please. She knew the rarity of the little psychic pokemon, and knew that their evolutions were greatly coveted for both their beauty and their strength. She and Savvy grew together, and she was one of her very first pokemon to evolve. They became fast friends, and despite Verity's inability to battle whatsoever, whenever Veri wanted to catch a pokemon, Savvy was always there ready to help out. Due to the fact that she remains in her second form, she is not one of the pokemon Verity is willing to breed yet.

ERRINICK NAME: errik SPECIES: eelektrik GENDER: male EGG GROUP: amorphous group MOVES: Headbutt Thunder Wave Spark Charge Beam Bind Acid Discharge Tackle THE POKEMON: Errinick is actually a second generation pokemon, because Verity caught his mother when she was travelling through Unova. When she returned to her daycare in Hoenn, she found that the Eelektross was incredibly rare and coveted for it's power, and she quickly found someone who wanted her, but not before she bred Errik for herself. The little eel pokemon was happy to travel around with her, and his thunder wave came in handy when she was trying to catch particularly tricky pokemon (she rarely caught pokemon for herself, though) and they quickly formed a bond of friendship, if not as close as the other two.

CORRIJARIN NAME: corri SPECIES: zorua GENDER: female EGG GROUP: field group MOVES: Sucker Punch Snatch Captivate Night Slash Pursuit Hone Claws Fury Swipes Foul Play THE POKEMON: Corrijarin the Zorua was caught on the selfssame long trip through Unova, and Verity had been hunting for her for months because the little Zorua had been separated from her mother, and stalking the pink-haired girl. Corri however had a fascination with hiding whenever Verity got close enough to start a battle, merely wanting to pester, and after nearly six months of travelling hand in hand, one night by complete accident, the little Zorua ended up exposing herself by going after some food. Verity leapt on the opportunity to capture her and add her to the rare collection, and Corri was disappointed - if happy that she no longer had to steal for food. Whenever she's out of the pokeball, Corri disappears for a bit, often returning with berries or something else as a happy treat for Verity after worrying about where she may have gone. The young pokemon is far from ready for breeding, so she gets to play as a young pokemon should.

LUCIENNA NAME: luci SPECIES: lucario GENDER: female EGG GROUP: field & humanlike group MOVES: Blaze Kick Hi Jump Kick Sky Uppercut Dark Pulse Metal Claw Force Palm Swords Dance Calm mind THE POKEMON: Lucienna was a strong wild Riolu when she and Verity met the first time, and they battled long and hard before Verity finally managed to whittle her down to the level she needed her to be before capturing her. One of her proudest moments was the end of that battle with Errinick by her side. She and the dog pokemon butted heads for quite some time after the capture, Luci throwing herself into battles instead of getting to know her trainer. One day however, Luci was injured in a battle, and Verity tended to her wound with care and affection. Lucienna finally caved into the woman, and started adoring her enough to evolve into a Lucario, where they became the best of friends.

BARMANIAN NAME: barmy SPECIES: gabite GENDER: male EGG GROUP: monster and dragon group MOVES: Slash Dual Chop Sand Tomb Sand Storm Sand Attack Dragon Breath Outrage Scary Face THE POKEMON: Barmy is a strange, strange pokemon, which is how he got his nickname. His mother remains at his parent's day care center all the time because she is a vicious, angry pokemon, and he was raised from a Gible to learn how to fight. Barmy likes to break free of his pokeball at times, and chase after Verity when she's not paying attention. He tends to rip her clothing, and more than once has torn through her skin. Verity has tried hard to raise him with care, knowing that he was due to eventually be traded to another trainer pre-raised, but she doubts the possibility he will ever be anything more than a nuisance.
