Rikki is very shy with people, preferring to hide behind her trainer and stay away from others, she is easily frightened and intimidated. Put her under the spotlight however, and Rikki's a different pokemon, she's confident and shining with happiness - eager to please her trainer as much as she is protective and loving of Azumi. Azumi's "cool" competitor.

SIRENA NAME: Sirena SPECIES: dewgong GENDER: female EGG GROUP: Water 1 and Field group MOVES: Signal Beam Ice Shard Icy Wind Sheer Cold Aqua Jet Aurora Beam Aqua Ring Dive THE POKEMON: A bit airheaded, but loving is the second pokemon of Azumi's team. One of those accidental catches in which training became catching, and catching became training once more. Sirena is always happy for attention, and has a habit of preening quite a bit under it. She thrives on compliments, and unlike her partner is hardly shy at all. Scoldings tend to make her sulky, if only because she is constantly being peppered with praise, so that she believes she can do no wrong - until she makes a mistake. Still, she's always willing to try again, and never gives up once the lights are on. Azumi's "beauty" contestant.

TOYA NAME: Toya SPECIES: Venomoth GENDER: male EGG GROUP: bug group MOVES: Confusion Disable Psychic Sleep Powder Foresight Poison Powder Discharge Giga Drain THE POKEMON: Caught back in the days of the Venonat, Toya is another of Azumi's favourites, for all his mischevious manner. A player at heart, Toya will often dance about showing affection to anyone, and switches from being playful to cold in the space of a few moments - never let it be said this pokemon doesn't like to play, he just plays by his own rules. Intelligent and cheeky, he's constantly looking for new ways to be amused, even if that means annoying the others. Azumi's "Smart" competitor.

KARLA NAME: Karla SPECIES: Ponyta GENDER: female EGG GROUP: field group MOVES: Flame Wheel Tackle Ember Flame Wheel Flame Charge Fire Spin Take Down Stomp THE POKEMON: Karla is possibly the most protective of her trainer, Azumi happened across her in the rain while she was injured, and rather than moving on, chose to shelter her with her jacket until the rain stopped. From then, Karla has been a willing and eager member of Azumi's team. She is quite possessive, and loathes it when others come near her trainer who are not one of the team - strangers are especially disliked if it means that Azumi will be distracted from her, or placed in any danger at all. Competes in "tough" and "beauty" contests.

CHIKA NAME: Chika SPECIES: Chikorita GENDER: male EGG GROUP: monster & grass group MOVES: Razor Leaf Magical Leaf Sweet Scent Tackle Synthesis Poison Powder THE POKEMON: The most recent addition to the team, Chika was captured on the basis of Azumi wishing to spread her team out a little more. Rarely used in contests for the moment, due to the fact that for all his plucky courage, Chika is still in training and Azumi simply likes to win. Not subtle at all, Chika's best asset is the fact that he will charge headlong into anything without checking if something needs to be done first - like looking before he leaps. Over enthusiastic and impulisive are other ways of describing him.

SANDY NAME: Sandy SPECIES: Sandshrew GENDER: female EGG GROUP: Field group MOVES: Scratch Defense Curl Sand Tomb Rapid Spin Sand Attack Fury Cutter Fury Swipes Rollout THE POKEMON: Quiet and shy like Rikki, Sandy loathes being the center of attention, and is thus more of a companion to Azumi than she is one of the battlers. She's always willing to be friendly in a one on one situation, but attempt to place her in a group and she'll always curl into the tightest ball she can until Azumi fetches her. "Tough" and "Cool" contests.
