RONO NAME: rono SPECIES: aggron GENDER: male EGG GROUP: monster MOVES: metal claw dig iron tail tackle iron defense take down aerial ace headbutt THE POKEMON: rono and sapphire had first met when professor birch had given the then aron to his daughter. he was first seen battling against a pelipper in rustboro city and helping sapphire to rescue mr. stone's castform. he underwent hard training in granite cave with toro and managed to evolve into a lairon during the battle against rustboro's brawly. he evolved again during the training with juan, tate, and liza on mirage island, which seemed to help his strength even more than his first evolution. rono has a naughty nature and can be quite the handful, which can match his owner's daring personality.

DONO NAME: dono SPECIES: donphan GENDER: male EGG GROUP: field MOVES: rollout rock tomb growl fire fang bulldoze thunder fang horn attack rapid spin THE POKEMON: sapphire and dono had first met on route 110 when the ground-type was running around rampant as an effect of the energy let off by the underground city of new mauville. after this encounter, dono helped sapphire turn the generator off and was then added to her team. dono has a hasty nature and is a power member of sapphire's team, as proven when he was used in the battle against archie and maxie.

PILO NAME: pilo SPECIES: tropius GENDER: male EGG GROUP: monster ; grass MOVES: razor leaf magical leaf solarbeam aerial ace gust stomp whirlwind leaf tornado THE POKEMON: sapphire had originally borrowed pilo from her father, professor birch, when she was first starting her journey. he came in handy when transportation was needed and his powerful grass-type moves made him quite the force to be up against. he is a commonly used member of sapphire's team as well as a major member. with his calm nature, he is sapphire's main means of transportation.

It had to have been at least two years, maybe even longer. She felt at ease in the tree, as if she could take on the world. She was in her element, surrounded by the forest on all sides. It was a great feeling and she had truly missed how happy the outdoors had made her feel. She had been cooped up for far too long it seemed. Between training and challenging gyms, she had hardly managed to find the time to even visit the forest, let alone climb a tree or two! But here she was, sitting in a tree in her normal outfit. Ruby would murder her if he ever found out she had managed to get her outfit snagged on something sharp. She didn't mind, though. She kind of admired the way Ruby took pride in the way his clothes looked or how his designs were kept as far out of harm's way as one could manage, not that she'd ever admit it. If she simply uttered the words that she admired his fashion sense, then she wouldn't hear the end of it! His ego would be ten times bigger and he'd somehow find the need to make more outfits than he needed. Hell, he might even try to force some onto her and she couldn't have that now could she? The short haired brunette adjusted the bandanna on her head before taking a deep breath, a content smile washing over her face. A gentle breeze picked up and the birds chirped soothing harmonies as the Pokedex Holder slowly rose from her spot in the knot of a tree. She had spent her whole day up here and the horizon was now painted with a dazzling sunset, vibrant oranges, pinks, and yellows now lighting up the sky as the sun slowly set. It was just too pretty to turn away from and so the brunette stayed there for a few more minutes, mesmerized by the breathtaking sight before her. Her phone vibrated in the pouch strapped around her waist and the girl fumbled with the zipper to get it in time. It rang twice before she picked up and when she did, the voice on the other line started chatting away. "Hi Dad. Yeah, I'm fine. I was out in the forest for a little bit. No, I didn't get lost. Yeah, I'll be home in time for dinner. Love you too, bye." Her father, Professor Birch, hung up and she did so a moment later, slipping her phone back into her little pouch. Without a moment to lose, she turned herself around in the tree and began her climb down. It didn't take long before she had both feet back on the forest floor once again. She had little difficulty with climbing from her tree and it filled her with a little bit of pride. Climb trees was something Ruby could never do, which merely meant she had him beat at something. Her competition with Ruby was a continuous type of thing. She never gave up when it came to outdoing the dark haired boy. She simply found something new to either tease him about or be better at. It was a never-ending cycle of doing and outdoing, a cycle that was probably not going to be broken anytime soon. "Better get goin'. Dad will have a Miltank if I'm late again," She spoke softly to herself, sidestepping away from her tree only to turn and rush off in the direction of her home. Suddenly, the only thing on her mind was food and nothing but food, something she was quite content with.
