When his other pokemon, Toe and Nock couldn't fight it, he was aided by Gold and his Cyndaquil. He caught it with ease after that, and it became probably his most important pokemon, reminding him of his father Walker, the previous Violet Gym Leader. TOE - FEMALE - PIDGEOTTO Sand Attack | Gust | Whirlwind | Twiser Feather Dance | Agility | Optional Attack | Optional Attack One of the first pokemon Falkner ever caught (along with Pidge) it was a sweetheart right from the beginning. When it came time for her to evolve however, she didn't wish to grow larger so he gave her an everstone to keep her from ever changing. She is loyal to him, and often scours Violet city looking for trouble to report back to him. Because she stayed a Pidgeotto, she often sits on his shoulder or forearm like a hawk to a hawker. NOCK - MALE - NOCTOWL Fly | Foresight | Hypnosis | Confusion Echoed Voice | Air Slash | Zen Headbutt | Synchronoise Nock was caught after the Pokemon hassled a bunch of the Bellsprout at Sprout Tower one night, and being a police officer, Falkner wanted to help. He rushed into the scene and seeing that it was a bird pokemon, caught it without thought. Nock likes to nip and bite at Falkner, but is a loyal battler. The two have a comraderie that is near unmatchable between human and pokemon. PIDGE - MALE - PIDGEOT Tail Wind | Roost | Wing Attack | Feather Dance Twister | Whirlwind | Agility | Fly Caught at the same time as Toe, Pidge was a frustrating pokemon to train, always trying to pluck the feathers of it's co-caught. But Falkner persisted and it became a tough battler, one used in the gym so often that it soon came time for it to evolve. Although Toe didn't want to, Pidge was excited to grow stronger, and soon became the method for Falkner's transportation around Johto. SWEL - FEMALE - SWELLOW Pluck | Peck | Wing Attack | Doubleteam Endeavor | Aerial Ace | Agility | Brave Bird Swellow was a strange creation.. It hatched from the egg of another pokemon as a Taillow with a vicious attack in Brave Bird. Because they assumed the pokemon would be a Pidgey, it was given to Falkner, and he was not disappointed by her extremely plucky nature. She happily lodged itself in his team, taking over as a strong fighter in his gym when needed. As much as she's a got a fierce temper, she loves Falkner above all else, and will go to great means to protect him. IN PC;;
