Probably why he's the last one to evolve. She has such an attachment to him even though he's virtually useless to everything she's trying to do. Joey is fat, much too fat for a Sealeo. And he is constantly looking for food, no matter where they are. Sure, he can kind of defend himself and level up, but he's so focused on food that he doesn't really think things through. He's very similar to his trainer in that way, except that he can go into panic mode and go on a rampage if he doesn't get the food that he wants or needs.

LADY NAME: queen princess grand duchess empress lady lady SPECIES: ninetales GENDER: female EGG GROUP: field MOVES: nasty plot flame burst captivate payback THE POKEMON: Claudia had never really considered leaving Slateport for any reason. She didn't need to and she didn't really want to go on an exploration. But, after getting an invitation in the mail for a cruise line that was completely and totally free (she didn't read the small print), Claudia had no problem leaving home for a week and not looking back. She started feeling a little off, however, when she was boarding the boat and saw all these people carrying beds and strange magazines and bottles of things that she just didn't want to repeat. After settling in her room with her Miltank, Claudia went out to explore the ship, only to descend into the hull and find out that she was aboard a Breeders' Convention ship. She knew this because of the unspeakable acts going on at the hundreds of table and the people standing by, watching them in rapt fascination. She walked around in a daze until a pushy vender handed off a Vulpix to her, thrusting her a handful of fire stones too. She wasn't sure what to do. It was a weird occurrence but she handled it. The vulpix seemed nice enough and after selling off the other fire stones, she evolved her into a Ninetales. This only seemed to ignite her...feelings. As a Vulpix, she'd been forced to breed over and over. And now that she had that as a habit, as a Ninetales belonging to Claudia, she craved it even more. She mated with at least ten different pokemon on that cruise and has been a thorn in Claudia's side ever since. Lady only wants one thing: sex. She wants to get some and she wants it quick. She cuts right to the chase when she meets a male of any kind, as long as they're bigger than her. She's a nymphomaniac to the highest degree and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon.

STEPHIE-POO NAME: stephanie SPECIES: mawile GENDER: female EGG GROUP: field and fairy MOVES: crunch baton pass vicegrip iron defense THE POKEMON: Given to her as a present at a food convention, Stephanie is nothing but a little baby. This small Mawile is smaller than usual and can be found chewing on her owner's arm. Not much to say about her, but she can be adorable when she wants to. She's still teething, though.

LARRY NAME: lawrence (he haaaates being called larry) SPECIES: milotic GENDER: male EGG GROUP: water 1 and dragon MOVES: aqua tail captivate twister hydro pump THE POKEMON: Claudia's mother had always encouraged her to go to the beach and go swimming. She always tried to get her to go out on Saturdays and just go for a walk on the beach. Claudia always complied and eventually grew to love it. But, on the first day on the beach, Claudia came splashing out of the water, holding a disgustingly tattered bass with a dead look on its face, carrying him home to her mother. Her mother helped the Feebas into a bowl and Claudia grinned widely, deciding to make him into a powerful Milotic. It took two or three years but, through constant verbal reinforcement and a LOT of berries, Larry's ugly appearance slipped away and he became a graceful Milotic. He wants to be called Lawrence, but Claudia doesn't seem to notice or care and calls him Larry. Lawrence's body makes him long and graceful, even though he sometimes is a little too big for the rooms that they enter. Claudia's mother had built on an addition to the house for Lawrence to live in comfortably before she died. Lawrence is often shoved into the leadership part of the team because it seems as though he's the only sane one to think through plans before letting Claudia bounce off into something ridiculous. He's the motherly type that makes sense of situations and looks after everyone.

MILLICENT NAME: millicent SPECIES: miltank GENDER: female EGG GROUP: field MOVES: zen headbutt rollout milk drink body slam THE POKEMON: For years and years, Millicent was a complacent dairy Miltank. She worked on the MooMoo Farm out near Goldenrod in Johto, producing milk every day. She was a happy, lucky cow. But a mysterious stranger came riding up to the ranch one day on a Tauros and the family invited him in, leaving her with the Tauros. While the other Miltank quivered with fear from his imposing presence, Millicent slowly got to know the male, befriending him and even having a blossoming romance over the next week or so. When it came time for the visitor to leave, the Tauros refused to leave without her. And so Millicent tagged along. They traveled through the regions, eventually setting up port in Slateport. In a chaotic rush surrounding a sinking boat, the man accidentally left the Miltank at port, going off on a journey to conquer Sinnoh. Millicent waited and waited and waited until Claudia finally stumbled upon her one day and offered her home to the Miltank. Millicent was in a slump for days until she finally made a resolution. Millicent is a bitter and angry female. She hates her old 'trainer' for what he made her and she holds a serious grudge against males and is angry and belligerent at all times. She's usually found in Claudia's backyard, slamming against something, practicing her Rollout even though Claudia doesn't like battling all that much.

EUSTACE NAME: eustace SPECIES: purugly GENDER: male EGG GROUP: field MOVES: swagger slash sucker punch faint attack THE POKEMON: When Claudia was growing up in Slateport, she often visited Purugly's Pastries, a small dessert shop near the beach that mostly offered ice cream to tourists but also had all sorts of delectable treats. She always noticed a Glameow sitting in the front window, bathing in the sunlight and she would always go in for an Apple Cherry Turnover and then pet the Glameow until she was done. The owners of the shop began to get older and the elderly woman decided to pass off the Glameow to Claudia because they would be closing the shop soon to retire. Claudia leaped at the chance and, after many rocky meetings of trying to take the Catty pokemon outside which resulted in scars all over her arms, she was able to convince him to come with her. It only took a little training to cause him to evolve into a Purugly and become, quite possibly, the strongest member of her team. Eustace isn't a very nice cat. He's pushy and cocky and always seems to get what he wants, damned anyone else. The only problem is that he isn't as graceful as he once was and so is often seen trying to take over a conversation and falling flat on his face, at which point he leaps up, sticks out his chest and bellows from deep within his thin, neat waist. He acts a lot tougher than he is.
