"It sure has been a while." Blue gazed down at Viridian City, her memories full of this city. Her friend Yellow was from the forest and Green was probably still gym leader, just like the last time she was here. Clouds drifted in her line of sight and the brunette had to shift her weight, steering Wigglytuff through the clouds. The pink Pokemon didn't mind. As long as she was in the sky, she was happy. Together, the pair gently lowered to the ground as the wind picked up again. They were blown off course a little, but then again Blue had never planned on a specific place. She really only wanted to try to find her friends and Viridian was the first place to start. Besides, if she couldn't find Yellow then she'd at least get to see Green at the gym.

Wigglytuff touched down and Blue jumped from the pink Pokemon's back, landing as softly as she could manage. She still got a scratch here and there, but that landing was so much better than the one before it. That landing had her wearing a cast for a few weeks and she certainly wasn't too happy about it. It was too bad she had left her psychic goggles back at Pallet Town. Since she had left, the Rebels had attacked Pallet and probably destroyed her goggles in the process. No worries though, she wouldn't have needed them anyway. It wasn't that hard to find her friends. She knew where green was and he would probably know where Yellow and Red were hiding. Of course, she would have to hope that Green wasn't too busy. Oh, who was she kidding? She would bother him even if he was busy! It was just who she was, always impatient and always on time. She was even early most of the time. First she had to get to the city.

The wind had blown Blue and Wigglytuff pretty off course, causing them to land in the heart of the Viridian Forest. The brunette trainer had been through the forest countless times and finding the city would be too hard. All she had to do was start walking in the direction of the faint lights in the city and the rest would be a piece of cake. She scanned the tops of the trees for any signs of light as she turned her head and her body to follow her eyes. Her Cadillac blue eyes had finally spotted some faint lights and she was off in that direction. Hopefully she wasn't heading in the direction of some random town or something. Her direction skills weren't the best for obvious reasons. She always seemed to get a little lost when she was out traveling so Wigglytuff would be her eyes in the sky. Of course, Wigglytuff was currently inside her Pokeball taking a rest so Blue couldn't call out the pink Pokemon. Well, she could, but she wanted to let the normal type rest while she was trying to find her way to Viridian City.

"You can do this, Blue." She had taken the wrong turn a few times, but she could tell that she was almost out. The lights were stronger than before and she could hear a few loud people here and there are they yelled goodbyes to each other. It had clearly gotten darker from when she had first landed, but Blue was too focused to care about the time. She could already see where the bushes grew thinner and she just couldn't hold in the excitement of seeing her friends any longer. The brunette went from a leisurely walk to a quick sprint as she moved through the forest, breaking through the bushes that marked the exit of the Viridian Forest and the start of Viridian City.

The famous Pokedex holder was finally there. She had finally made it and Green was probably in the gym. Yellow might be there too, but it wasn't as likely. She would still try to find Yellow, though. The younger girl was like a little sister to Blue and she would do anything to see her smiling face again. First on her list, though, was Green. She was right near the gym too. "Perfect!" Blue cried before dashing off in the direction of the gym. She soon grew tired, however, and had to return to a slow walk so she could catch her breath. The brunette took this time to look around at the shops she was passing, hoping to find someone she knew within them. She could only frown though, for there was not a trace of her friends. On that note, she kept walking closer and closer to the gym. She was so close to seeing one of her friends again she could practically tackle Green in a hug. The gym leader wouldn't be so happy about that, but then again he was rarely happy about anything. With those final thoughts, she rounded the corner and approached the gym...

Admittedly, he'd been hanging around Viridian for a good couple of days, just waiting for the right moment to drop in. Red didn't really want to bother Green... well okay, yes he did, but regardless, he didn't want to interupt something highly important. Like a challenge or something. Those were very important, and since Green was the last Gym Leader, Red supposed he probably didn't see a whole lot of action... Probably about as much as Red saw these days - wild Pokemon excluded from that count of course. By his feet, Pika darted around happily, just as excited as his trainer to be back in Viridian. He loved going and seeing the others just as much as Red did, particularly where Yellow was involved... Or ChuChu, technically, Red had never really been sure which one gained more enthusiasum from the small, yellow mouse-type, but then, Red had never asked. So it was probably natural that he didn't know. Kicking a stone up from the ground with the toe of his sneaker and pushing it back into the dirt, Red shoved his hands into his pockets as he stared up at the entrance to the gym. It was hard to tell if Green was even in the Gym, he might be out on the Forest with Yellow. Or Yellow might be napping at this time... Green wouldn't be napping, he didn't nap. He was always training, just like Red was usually. Grinning down at Pika as he tugged on his pant leg, Red glanced up again at the Gym, merely enjoying the warmth of the sun. The sun was still up on Mt Silver, but it was a lot colder there. Sometimes Red forgot how much he hated the cold, and how much he missed the warmth of other parts of Kanto. Unconciously rubbing his hands together to dispel any lingering chill in them - though his hands always seemed to be a bit chillier than the rest of him - Red shook his head again, pushing his cap up on his head and taking a step towards the Gym. "Pi!"

[/i] There were very few people that incited such excitement in Pika. Green was one, Yellow was another, ChuChu was another again, and then there was-
"Blue?" There was a split second of shock on Red's face, before the expression faded to nothing other than utter delight as he took the several steps between them at something that wasn't quite a run before throwing his arms around his friend.
"Blue! You're here! You're in Viridian! Are you okay? Did something happen? Do you need help? I'm so glad to see you! I missed you so much!" The words flowed at a mile a minute, but Red didn't have a problem keeping up with himself as he held one of his best friends as close as he could before rather reluctantly letting go so that Pika could clamber up to his chest, leaning over and chattering excitedly at Blue while he clung her shoulder now.

It was moments like this that reminded Red why he missed his friends so much, even if Blue was the one he technically thought about the least. Just because she was always off on her own adventures... Though she was probably the one Red worried about the most, purely because she was a a magnet for trouble.
"Did you come to see Green and Yellow?"

The city of Viridian was just full of surprises. Once she had rounded that corner that led to the gym, many memories of her beloved friends washed over her. She wasn't expecting to remember so many of their times together, but she did anyway. A simple 'Pi!' brought her back to reality as she saw the figure in front of her. He was pretty muscular compared to the last time she had seen him, that's for sure. Mount Silver must have done wonders for his physical appearance, it seemed. He still looked the same though. His clothes were the same and his hair fell in the same places it had when she had last seen him. Even his red eyes (that she happened to adore) had that same childish look in them as he turned around. Pika seemed almost as excited as Red to see her, almost. At first, the black haired champion looked surprised to see his brunette friend until it all sunk in. In an instant, he was making his way to her with Pika in tow.

It was safe to say that she thought she would fall over as he threw his arms around her. A light blush made her cheeks rosy as she returned the embrace, her grip slightly tight. She didn't want him to leave her like Silver did, but she only giggled as his words came out slightly jumbled. Before she even had time to answer, he reluctantly released her to give Pika a turn to say hi to the female trainer. The electric Pokemon chattered away just as Red did and she grinned at both Pika and Red. She reached her hand out toward Pika and pet his head as she smiled at the pair before her. Blue heard Red's final question and she nodded, fixing her eyes on his. "I take it you missed me?" She flicked his nose and continues, giggling slightly. "You worry too much, Red. I'm completely fine, nothing happened, and if I ever need help, then I'd call you right away," She smiled and gave her 'hero' a flirtatious wink before embracing him again. "I missed you the most," She mumbled into his neck, tightening her grip on him slightly.

Blue lifted her head and pulled away from him slightly, keeping her arms locked around him. "How was Mount Silver?" She asked, curious about his time training. She had heard that it was cold on the mountain, but she had never actually asked Red if he had been affected by the cold at all. Looking to his shoulder, she smiled at Pika and sighed contently. She had to admit, she really liked being with Red and Pika again. She felt rather safe being with the pair and they always did make her laugh. She just hadn't gotten around to visiting them on Mount Silver like she had promised. She wanted to, but her search for Silver had taken much longer than she had planned and she still couldn't find him. The brunette looked down, trying to clear her thoughts of Silver. He was a sore topic that she had tried to get rid of, but she was always being reminded of him. He was probably one of the reasons why she was starting to become a little clingy. She blushed and released her grip on red, looking down at the ground nervously. "Sorry..."

Blue was the one who hugged back, good as she got. No matter how tight her arms were, Red didn't want to pull away, his arms holding her just as tightly as she was holding him. Pika was as eager as he was to see Blue, smiling at the other trainer as she patted his head and wiggled under her touch while Red simply soaked up being in her presence. She was so warm, and so nice to hug. "Of course I did!" Red grinned back at her, wrinkling his nose slightly as she flicked his nose, and then simply shrugging. "I still worry, I worry that you won't be able to call in time.. I worry that you'll be stubborn. I worry I won't be able to get there in time... You know... stuff like that." A slight blush flared on Red's cheeks as he glanced down at the ground before looking up in surprised delight as her arms curled around his neck again. Automatically, Red's arms curled around her lower back, holding her close. Everytime she hugged him, Red found himself wondering why he hadn't hugged her more before. There was something about her, the way she felt, she was so warm, and her hair was so soft pressing against his cheek. Then there was a scent, he wasn't sure if it was her hair or a perfume she used, but whatever it was, it was elusive and Blue. It also had the effect of making his head spin a little as her lips moved against his neck. "I... I missed you too, Blue. The most." Colour flared on his cheeks again, and Red was glad Blue couldn't see his face. As she pulled away, Red found himself staring slightly. Had her eyes always been so blue? It took him a minute to realise she'd asked him something, and Red hurried to catch up. Oh right! Mt Silver. For a moment, a flicker of uncertainty crossed his face before Red shrugged it off. He was still uncomfortable with the extreme cold up on the mountain, and he supposed he always would be. Funny, his hands didn't feel cold right now. "Cold." He answered honestly, with a grin as he watched Pika lean forward to press his nose to Blue's happily. Not wanting Blue to worry, he hurried to add on to that, laughing sheepishly. "But fun! Training is always fun.." Worried he'd said something wrong when her eyes dropped, Red inwardly panicked, lifting one hand to tug on her hair. "Blue? Are you okay?" Then she was stepping away. Cold air rushed where she'd been, and Red let his hands drop away from her, managing a grin to cover up his dissapointment. "Why are you sorry? With a loving smile, Blue scratched behind Pika's ear as she listened to Red. She blushed at his words, feeling her cheeks get hotter than they were before. He must have really missed her, huh? She could tell by the way Pika was acting that he had definitely missed her. The Pikachu was practically beaming and she couldn't help but giggle and give Pika a small kiss on his forehead. She pulled back and looked at Red, a big grin on her face. What he said next really made her blush, though. Her face turned a pink color and she smiled at him with warm blue eyes.

"Stay with me more often then. That way you'll be by my side no matter what and you won't have to worry as much," She shyly took his hand his hers and used her free hand to scratch behind Pika's ears again. She smiled at the yellow Pokemon and she locked eyes with Red, blushing even harder now. Her heart skipped a beat when she heard what he had said and she rested her head on the shoulder that wasn't occupied by Pika. "That gives me butterflies," She replied softly. She really did have butterflies in her stomach right now. It was a warm, airy feeling that left her speechless most of the time. She only seemed to get them around Red though. She didn't mind them to be honest. They made her feel all funny inside, sure, but she felt bubbly and happy as soon as they started to flutter. Blue giggled at his reply about Mount Silver and she smiled as Pika pressed his nose against hers. She gave him a wink and then she replied to Red as he finished talking, ending with the statement "I like hugging you...".

"Try wearing more clothes if it's so cold up there," She giggled and pulled him into another embrace as she continued talking. "As long as you like my hugs," She chirped against his skin happily, no long embarrassed about hugging him for too long. She only snuggled against him even more and pulled back slightly to touch her nose to his like Pika did to her. Blue blushed and released him, her face a bright pink color. "We should really move this into the gym."

The words were probably as innocent as anything, but Red felt his cheeks warm at the idea. To stay with Blue, and not have to worry about her because he would be right there to protect her. The notion of being near her all the time... It wasn't a bad one, not in the slightest. He grinned back at her as she glanced up at him, before blinking with something akin to bemusement. He'd really forgotten how pretty her eyes were, she was probably deliberately looking at him like that, making his stomach tighten with butterflies. His fingers curled around hers, holding her hand in a loose, uncertain grip that would allow Blue to pull away if that was what she wanted. She'd made the contact to start with though, so logically she wouldn't mind. Even if he knew he liked Blue, these were situations that Red had never been involved in before. The kind of contact he liked with Blue, he'd never noticed before. "If you want me to stay close, I will. I'll be where ever you want." His hand tightened around hers, pulling her close once more. "I do wear clothes!" The words came out in an indignant squeak, and Red grinned at his friend as he shook his head at her, "It's not like I run around naked up there you know." He teased before inwardly flailing as she wrapped her arms around him again. She made it so hard for him to think, so hard to remember he was supposed to be doing something, to be going somewhere. RED BROKE YELLOW! xD It was getting late one evening when Yellow found herself inside the Viridian Gym for the second time that day. She'd been there early, seven am early, for training, like she was everyday, and while she sometimes stayed after, she had come by again for a very special reason that night. It was important but private, so she waited until all of the minor trainers left for the evening, leaving Green alone. Alone was best, no matter how things turned out. Even then she'd been hesitant to enter, fear pricking at her mind, trying to get her to stop. While she could be brave when it came to the defense of others, when it came to her feelings, especially the ones towards Green, she just...lost all courage. She wished she could be like Blue, confident, beautiful, seemingly no fear when it came to flirting. But no, she was just plain little Yellow from Viridian City, and she just hoped that was enough. Soon enough, she'd found herself inside, sitting on the edge of the arena and watching Green, her trying to work up the courage to ask the question she'd specifically come here to ask. It shouldn't have been so hard; they had a date, and they'd kissed, and she liked him so much...but somehow she just couldn't get the words out. No. She couldn't just give up like that, especially not when she'd made it all the way here already. She had to be brave, like when she'd faced Lance. It was just a simple little sentence, so why was it harder for her to ask than to fight the leader of the Elite 4 for the sake of all human kind? She was stronger than that, she could do this. A deep breath, and then the words started stumbling out, the Viridian trainer blushing bright red as she spoke. "U-um...Green...there's...there's something I wanted to ask. I know we've..." Kissed, her mind tried to get her to say, but she couldn't too embarrassed as it was. "We've been together...a lot. And um...I...I wanted to know if...if you'd...you'd be my...my boy-" And then there was Red's voice, cutting her off and causing her blush to deepen. She'd been so close! Not that she was disappointed to see Red, of course, but she'd tried so hard...she wasn't sure if she'd be able to do it again. His afternoon had been quite uneventful after Yellow left in the early afternoon, and he couldn't help but wonder if he'd said something to offend her. Didn't she usually stick around at the Gym for a while after they trained even if it was only to chat? He frowned, swearing silently that next time he would be more careful in choosing his words. Normally Green didn't care much about feelings, but ately Yellow had been the only person that he'd been in contact with. He knew quite well that if she stopped talking to him he would be spending the majority of his time training alone rather than working with one of his dearest friends. Why did this matter? Green was probably over thinking this entire thing, Yellow probably just had somewhere else to be. She'd be back tomorrow for training and she wouldn't treat him any differently than usual. A guy could hope right? After all his other two friends had been missing in action for the past few weeks, Red was off the mountain but he still hadn't made it by Viridian for a visit, and Blue was nowhere to be found. He missed the old days. How long had it been since he'd last moved? Green eyes turned up toward the clock on the wall, almost three hours? It was almost unbelievable. The days were beginning to blur together, hours felt like minutes was this what the rest of his life was going to be like? Confined to a space like this spending the majority of his time completely alone? Perhaps it was only fitting, he'd always preferred to work alone after all, but not this alone. The only time he actually enjoyed himself lately was when Yellow came around to train with him. He didn't normally like to give compliments with those he trained, but she was an impressive student who'd picked up fighting techniques much more quickly than he'd ever imagined. Green shook his head, it was unusual for him to think about any of his friends this often. His eyes wandered to the egg that he held loosely in his arms, and thought of Rosetta. Te was trying to keep the egg with him as much as he could, but it was so bulky and was often a hinderance to haul around. It was then that a bright light burst into the Gym, causing Green to squint. A challenger? No, it was too late for a challenge. His eyes narrowed trying to make out the figure that had just entered the Gym. The door closed behind the figure and he realized who it was. "Yellow?" His voice carried through the empty Gym, even his trainers had left by now. His face remained serious, the young man wasn't sure but she looked a bit too serious for this to be a casual visit. He didn't even have time to greet her when she came closer. A question? Green looked down at her, the girl stumbled over her own words clumsily for reasons he didn't quite understand. But he remained silent, allowing her to finish her question. Boy--? As the Gym's door swung open once again, he couldn't help but wish the timing hadn't been so annoying. Could she have been asking him to be her boyfriend? Green scowled, turning his attention to the door once more, but this time he didn't have to guess who it was. A familiar voice echoed through the Gym, Red! Green smirked, his oldest rival had finally decided to come for a visit, but he was surprised to see another person by his side. He squinted, and was sure immediately. Blue was here too! The egg was still clutched awkwardly in a protective embrace, but he was a bit too nervous about breaking it to move it or set it down. "About time you two came by." He was expecting Red to visit, but he had to admit that he was a bit shocked to see Blue. She hadn't come by since she'd alerted them on the existence of the Rebel force, he frowned, wondering briefly if the reason behind her visit was the same. Had Silver, Blue's favorite little pawn, brought her more important information? For now the expectance of new information was enough to keep him from wondering why Yellow had come to his Gym. Blue's face turned a bright red as she realized just how close she was to actually making contact with Red's lips. She tried to hide her disappointment as he pulled away, reluctantly, she might add. Her eyes probably gave her away and so she clutched onto his hand tightly, afraid that he might let go, that he would abandon her like Silver did. God, she had to stop thinking about him! She was about to scold herself mentally when Red pulled her along, his hand tightly wrapped around her own. He freed her hand only once to open the door before she quickly took it in her own again. She smiled at him then, a warm, loving smile that made her whole face light up at once. Looking into the dark, creepy gym, Blue spotted her petite blonde friend almost immediately.

"YELLOW ♥" The brunette squealed, dragging Red into the center of the gym before dropping his hand to wrap Yellow in a tight hug. She noticed the blonde girl's bright red face and she giggled before twirling her around in a circle, laughing out of pure happiness. "I've missed you so much~" Blue cried happily, finally placing Yellow back on the ground, only to see Green. With a wide grin, she quickly closed the distance between her and the gym leader before pouncing at him, wrapping herself around him tightly. "Did you miss me, Green-bean? ♥" She laughed, clinging to him for a minute or so before releasing the brunette, already missing Red's hand in hers. Blue made her way back to Red, giving him a flirty grin and a cute wink before taking his hand in hers. She pulled him by the hand to Green and Yellow, who were a good two or three, maybe even four feet away from them.

"What have you guys been up to lately? Goddamn, I missed you guys!" Blue smiled then, leaning against Red slightly as she tightened her grip on his hand. She flashed a smile at Yellow and Green, before hearing what President of the Brooding Society said. With a smirk, she replied rather quickly. "We were gonna stop by earlier, but we had things to do," Blue kept her poker face on, trying her hardest to not laugh at what she just told Green and Yellow. She actually did have to train, which counted for her thing to do, but she didn't know about Red. She just implied that they were together or something like that, which was far from the truth. Green didn't have to know, though. She always did like messing with him, anyway. Blue looked to Red, winking at him once again, before setting her crystal blue eyes on Green. She just couldn't wait to see his reaction. Hopefully, he would react as she had planned, stunned and slightly curious. It would all play out, though, and she just hoped it would go in her favor.

It was that which made him miss the red blush that stole over Yellow's face as she hid her face in her hands. Rather he glanced around for a moment as Blue released him to go grab Yellow and Red's own eyes lit up upon seeing Green. "Green! I told you I'd come visit!" He grinned, hurrying forward to hug his friend and skidding to a halt bare centimeters from Green to bend to look at the egg. It was probably a good thing that he hadn't gone ahead and glomped Green then. Curiousity stole over the cheerful expression and Red bent slightly, lifting one hand to poke the shell gently. "Oooh Green's a mama?" He laughed, peering closely at the shell to try and determine what it would be when it hatched without asking. "What is it-- Yellow!" Only just noticing his other best friend, Red had no qualms about turning on a foot and practically pouncing on the much smaller girl and snuggling against her happily. "Yellow I missed you so~ much! What have you been up to? What are you doing? How come you're here with Green? Did you miss me?" Finishing it with a puppy-dog expression down at the girl, Red's customary grin brightened his entire face even if it faltered at the sight of Blue clinging onto Green. He didn't know why it bothered him, but it did. So he cuddled Yellow closer before releasing her and allowing Blue to grab his hand again. When Blue leaned against him, Red had the strangest urge to wrap an arm around her shoulders. Good thing he resisted too, because Blue obviously had a plan. Evidently, she'd forgotten one thing about Red... His inability to realise plans. "We did?" As Yellow stood there, caught up in her embarrassment at being interrupted at such a crucial moment, it seemed to her that there would be nothing better than if the ground opened up and swallowed her alive. Interrupted. She'd waited until after hours, til there would be no one else around to see her make a fool of herself, and even then there were people, both to stop her from asking and to see the terrible horrible brilliantly red blush that was covering her face. The only bright side, she supposed, was that it was Red and Blue, two of her oldest and dearest friends, and that Green had no time to ask just what she had been going to ask in the first place. She didn't know if she'd even be able to get out words, let alone try and explain it when Blue and Red were there. Red might not understand, but she was sure Blue would, and she had no idea what the wily older girl would do with the information. That was the last thought she had before she was wrapped in a tight hug, being spun around as she usually was whenever the brunette greeted her. "I...I missed you too..." was all she was able to get out midspin before Blue set her on the ground and latched onto Green, trading spaces with Red, who had been gretting Green. She was snuggled close, still red, still ever so embarrassed, and barely managed to follow along with his rambling questions. "I...I missed you, yes. I'm here...here cause..." she trailed off then, not able to finish explaining why she was there, not in front of everyone. Her blush only got worse at Blue's suggestive words, and she found herself staring at the ground once Red let go, fiddling with the bottom hem of her tunic. Things to do...? Oh dear. There was no doubt that he was happy to see his friends, but he didn't chose to express his excitement like Red and Blue. Green didn't much care for loud hellos or bear hugs, instead he preferred a simple greeting, but after almost a decade of friendship with Red and Blue he knew that a greeting of that type would be unheard of. His green eyes turned to Red upon being acknowledged, Green nodded once. "Took you long enough..." Red had promised to come by, but it had been a few weeks before he'd actually showed up, and of course in traditional Red fashion he did so without notice. And as if coming by unannounced, interrupting Yellow, and letting Blue loose in his Gym he was now calling the resident Leader a "mama". Green gave him a cool look. "I am not a mama." The scowl on his face remained stubbornly as he watched Yellow and Blue embrace. Then before he could react Green found himself wrapped tightly in Blue's embrace. A low growl exited his lips. "Yes I missed you, now get off." He glanced down at her briefly with a stern expression. After all of these years she had not grown out of her obnoxious ways, Green simply couldn't help but wonder when she would grow up. His dark eyes glanced from Blue back toward Yellow and Red. What was this feeling? Jealousy? He did not like that Red was hugging Yellow, but what could he say. Green had kissed Yellow, but nothing more had happened after that. Did that give him good reason to feel this way? He quickly brushed the thought out of his mind and allowed himself to finally relax when Blue released him from her grasp. What had he been up to? "Training mostly. Yellow has been by for help with her Pokemon as well." Green's expression softened slightly as he looked from Red and Blue to Yellow, "she picks up on the training exercises quickly." But before he could ask what Red and Blue had been up to Blue took it upon herself to announce that they'd been busy. Busy? Green's eyes narrowed and he looked between his old friends curiously. Blue had stuck close to Red since she'd said hello, but he hadn't realized that they were together... And certainly not that they were more intimate. Red had always been so oblivious. His confusion evaporated when Red spoke though, a knowing smirk grew across Green's lips. So they weren't doing other things. In a proud "know it all" moment Green had done something that he wouldn't normally do. He had allowed himself to become distracted and had missed Yellow's words. Caught up in the excitement of the visit Green had become a bit more like his best friend, completely and utterly oblivious.
